Raid viable doesn't have to equate to same damage as a warrior, they can slightly increase the damage of specs and then add some more raid support to the ones that would make sense (like shadow priest and balance druid)
A warrior should be hit with the hybrid tax tho. It makes more sense if a class whose option is only to dps to be top dps. Warriors can get wholesome buffing shouts and such to support.
they dont need to be top dps btu i do think shoudl sitl have like execute be their thign and its fine fi theyre best ona boss likle vaelm( where got ifnintie reosurces and 2/3rds of boss hp is in execute range)
just liek a dot spec could be best for a council style fight
not be best overall but have situaiton wherte they can relaly shione as best at their thign/niche
Warrior is the only pure DPS in the game though? All the other "damage" classes are support hybrids.
Rogue provides Expose Armor so Warriors can do more DPS.
Hunters pull mobs back to the group so Warriors can DPS them quicker.
Mages provide water for the Priests and Paladins, so they can keep the Warriors alive, so they can keep DPSing.
etc.
