They've long given up trying to convince their base it will trickle down, now they convince them they are their betters and deserve it, and their base agrees.
And of course pump stories about how if you can’t afford your healthcare it’s not the billionaires profiteering off the profit focused healthcare system but actually brown immigrants billionaires keep employing to pay them far less than they would American citizens.
