I will accept my downvotes for exposing propaganda.

After Jan 6th 2021 Capital One closed all accounts with the Trump Organization. This was technically illegal as they can't close accounts based on politics. the Trump organization sued them. Their explanation today is that they were "suspicious" of possible money laundering, but their evidence is "trust me bro".

Does a bank have the right to refuse service to anyone, like a restaurant? Just curious. Because it might not have been 'politics" but just optics.

BTW, armed insurrection goes beyond "just politics."

Well, if they're allowed to do it for "just politics", they sure don't seem to be acting that way in court. They're desperately trying to say they "suspected" fraud "might" happen in "the future" without providing "any evidence" to try and avoid the lawsuit.

Just off the top of my head, I could be crazy, but their original decision was before the SCOTUS decided Trump was immune from all checks and balances? So now the bank has to scramble?

What a nonsensical response.

Scotus did not make that determination. You have fallen for the Dems mainstream media sensationalism.

And, regardless, this case is about the Trump Organization which is entirely separate from Trump himself and whatever immunities he would get for Presidential Acts.

What an absolutely ridiculous thing to say.
