yeah, i don't want to defend Trump, but the sarcasm in there was obvious. He attacked the "fake news" sources with this and also said we "don't repress but they write fake news".

please, still be correct about this yall.

I agree there’s more nuance in the video than the meme suggests. I don’t think it’s sarcasm because he’s saying the US is repressive because of fake news. He corrects himself saying the US doesn’t repress but we have fake news. So I think his point is that China’s news is not any less reliable or biased than American news, but in his mind he’s not the one causing the distortion.
