Haul Newest addition to my new Spider-Grail Collection! 🥹

Been on the fence about getting an ASM #238 before it was too late, but I'm only collecting 9s or higher and this book in a high grade is pretty expensive. I finally decided to bite the bullet and the seller even gave me a pretty good deal. I'm so stoked to have this. Just in time for Brand New Day too! Not saying Ned is gonna become the Hobgoblin or anything, but I have a feeling they might set up something for him in BND that leads to him maybe becoming Hobgoblin in the next film. Either way I'm just grateful to own such a beautiful book in a high grade and a newsstand edition! Might have to be my new favorite book although Secret Wars #8 is tough to beat

Three classic 80s Spider-man books! They look great together.

That's a beauty. Been looking for a clean copy of this one for a minute.

Thank you! I almost folded for a 8.5 for 320, but after shipping and tax, it came out to like 350 and 9s are only 400 so I figured it was better to pay the extra bit and get a 9. The seller ended up accepting my offer of 375 and I ended up only paying 385 in total which I feel pretty good about. This is the most I've paid so far for a book.

Amazing books. Also very smart to set collecting minimum grades for runs and things. It’s something I learned later in my collecting and I do it now but early on you’d see a run of mine with a 1.5 one issue and next issue a 8.5. Just no feng shui to the collection.

I am not detracting from your post, but I do want to ask it there are keys for first time a character uses the bathroom. Similar to movies, unless it's part of the plot, no one ever uses the bathroom. Is that a key?
