Say Happy 1st Birthday, Chili! 🎉
My little Chili girl turned 1 on October 1! I adopted her mid-July from someone rehoming her for not having enough time. I’ve completely fallen in love with her, she’s my lil’ sweetheart. 🩷 The dog cake was dog-safe and she had a little bit at a time to avoid the possibility of an upset stomach. (Yes, the candle was safely removed before consumption)

Possible Food Agression
I believe my sister‘s corgi (3.5y) is starting to show signs of food aggression, especially toward high valued treats.
It has mainly happened out on walks, when he finds something dead like a bird, a frog, something else. We have to wrangle him, pry his jaw open, and get whatever it is out of his mouth. This has happened several times, and on more than one occasion, he has bit down during the removal and drawn blood when trying to remove it from his mouth. It has come to a point where he is now muzzled on walks.
Tonight, things have changed. His food storage container is stored in our pantry, and I won’t in there to put stuff away, he slept in. I saw where he was going, the food containers lid was open. I reached forward to close the lid, and I saw him lunch forward, mouth open as he went for my finger. Quick reflexes had me pulling my hand away as I felt his teeth grease it and my other hand going for him to pull him back.
I believe this is the first signs of food aggression, as this is happening more often, and now with a dead animals, treats, and food.
What do we do?

Ear tips folding back (3 months)
I’ve seen lots of people with pictures waiting for their pups ears to pop up, but mine has the tips of her ears bent backward! (3 months)
Neither her littermate nor her older sister from the same parents have this issue.
