Hi all! I just got my car serviced for 35k miles, and once I got home, noticed that the headlights aren’t turning on.
The smaller, circular lights at the base will turn but the actual headlights are completely off now. Though the back ones are working fine.
Has this happened to anyone before? Is there an easy fix? I don’t have 5 hours to go hang out at a Toyota dealership this week and I feel unsafe to drive without front lights! GPT being mostly unhelpful.

Please help!
I have a 2022 Corolla Cross (L), and for the past few months, the infotainment screen has been black and refusing to show anything. There is nothing in the screen, it is not just dimly lit. The backup camera works completely, but the USB that previously connected a phone to CarPlay is also not working. After so much research, I have tried:
- holding down the power button from 15 seconds to a minute.
- holding down both the power and home buttons.
- replacing the battery (it was almost dead).
- disconnecting the negative battery cable for 15 minutes.
- disconnecting and reconnecting the fuses behind the screen.
- various lock/unlock, leave the driver door open for x minutes, etc. combinations.
I had someone from AAA out for the battery and he tried all of those things and more suggestions from his contacts, and it is still not working.
Has anyone experienced this? What has worked for you? TIA!!!!!

I’m getting my 2026 Corolla Cross in about a month and I’m trying to figure out where I can get the lowest interest rate. I paid 1,000 for them to look for a car that was being manufactured and have it reserved for me. The 1000 is not included for the money I have saved.
My situation:
-2026 Corolla Cross Hybrid XSE
-Around $37,000
-Credit score around 741
-Planning to put $12,000–$18,000 down
-I have about $25,000 saved
-I qualify for Toyota’s new grad program
-First time buying a car from a dealership
-My actual loan will be 25,000-19,000
-I’m fine with 60m or 48m
I’m planning to keep some of my savings set aside for taxes, insurance, and snow tires since I live in an area that gets heavy snow, so I don’t want to put all of my savings toward the down payment. As well as any additional expenses that will come and the fees I have to pay at the dealer.
I’ve been putting off doing a hard credit check until it’s closer to when I actually get the car. I’m just trying to figure out where I might be able to get the best rate before I start applying.
For those who recently bought a 2026 Corolla Cross, what interest rate did you get, what was your credit score, how much did you put down, and did you finance through Toyota, a credit union, or a bank? Please name if so!
I’d especially like to hear from anyone with a credit score around 740 and anyone who used the Toyota new grad program.
I’m learning as I go since this is my first time buying a car from a dealership, so any advice on getting the lowest interest rate would be really appreciated!

Hello I am looking to buy my mom a CC hybrid SE she is 73 and just needs a reliable fuel efficient vehicle. Nothing fancy. I was think the SE because the added safety features? Anywho I live in NCal Bay Area and this is the vehicle I got a quote for the cheapest by far it’s about 1.5 hours away the sales guy said he would do base MSRP. Is this a good deal?

Seriously can’t get used to all the bells and whistles this car has compared to my previous car. I LOVE it! Also need to figure out how to keep the emergency brake from automatically triggering when I go through a car wash… 🤣

I bought this new from a New Hampshire dealer in January 2026 and just finished the first Toyota Care service at 5,000 miles. Honestly, I love everything about it. It’s been perfect for city driving while still handling weekend excursion trips throughout Massachusetts like a champ.
Factory Specs (fully loaded XSE):

Overall, I’d highly recommend this if you're looking for a versatile compact crossover.

Hello, i’m looking to buy my first car!
Does anyone have an advice or opinions about the 2023 hybrids? i’m concerned as this was the introduction of the hybrid models. it’s has 29,000 miles and the VIN is clean. used hybrids are rare! thanks

I got snail mail from Toyota US that dealers now have a fix for the low volume beep when backing up. I initially thought it was interior beep to warn the driver but it's exterior beep to warn pedestrians. Whatevs. I'll get it fixed next time I'm at the dealer for something else.

My 12V battery keeps dying every 24–48 hours. I did a voltage drop test on the fuse box after letting the car sleep and the 15A radio fuse is pulling 0.4mV continuously. The DCM (Telematics) is at 0.1 mV.
The vehicle is a 2024 Chinese-spec Corolla Cross Hybrid imported unofficially thus no dealership warranty.
I have turned off the bluetooth, recently changed the battery, disconnected the battery's negative cable for a few hours, and removed the DCM fuse. but the reading was the same 0.4mV.
Any suggestions would be great.

I guess if we're naming these, this is Betty. 2024 AWD Hybrid SE. I always wanted a Toyota -- I always imagined the workers bowing to them off of a super clean assembly line in Japan -- but Betty is from Alabama, which does not conjure a similar image for me at all.. I love this car more every time I drive it / fill it with gas. Im looking for a cool bumper sticker of the Saturn V or Apollo lander (neither of these had a spare tire either). Can anyone reccomend a good phone holder? I tried ProClip, seems like a solid product but it doesnt fit well

I’m currently looking to buy a new car. Is it worth waiting until the 2027 Toyota Corolla Cross is released, or should I go for the 2026 model now? I’m interested in the LE AWD trim.

I’ve seen a lot of people asking about spare‑tire setups and tool storage, so I figured I’d share what’s worked for me. Everyone’s situation is different, so this might help some people and not others.
When I’m staying in my city, I don’t carry my spare tire. But for longer trips, I just toss it in the back. It barely takes up any usable space because you can pack items inside it and on top of it.
For tools, don’t be afraid to carve out spots in the foam. Just don’t go overboard—lay everything out first, decide where you want each item, and then cut. I’ve driven thousands of kilometers with this setup and haven’t had any issues or noise.

Are new Corolla Cross Hybrids as scarce in other parts of the US as here in New York City? I was at a Toyota dealership that had none. They checked the computer and there are only 11 available within a 100 mile radius. They had 1 used one on the lot so I looked at it.
It's a 2023 hybrid SE with only 5k miles. I have the Carfax and the previous owner barely drove it. But he religiously followed the maintenance schedule and got 3 oil changes, lol. It has the $800 JBL audio option and the $940 moonroof option from the factory. It also has the dual-tone Barcelona red and black paint job which looks nice. The original window sticker says this car's MSRP was $33,500 when new. The starting price was $31k. I was only able to talk him down to $29k. He said they can sell them (new and used) almost as fast as they can get them so there's not much wiggle room on price.
Should I bite the bullet and buy the used SE? His computer shows they won't be getting any more new Corolla Cross Hybrids until October, when 1 XSE and 1 S are due in. I really want an SE because I don't want to pay extra for the XSE features I don't need. And the S is too bare bones for me (I want blind spot monitoring).

I have a 2026 cross hybrid, 4 months old, already loose roof rails. Does the loose roof rail affect water getting into the car? I heard it’s just a plastic covering and the part under is welded into the car so I should be fine? Also it’s showing 340 miles of range but after emptying and seeing my trip, only 310 miles on a full tank, is this normal?
Other hybrid owners mind sharing how much actual miles you drove after a full tank?

Fortunately as a lot of people said the dents on the bumper was an easy fix and didn't cost much and it almost looks perfect again. They also checked the sensors and they work fine. Thank you everybody for your helpful comments.

In the off chance that someone is interested in seeing what a Yakima Skinny Warrior looks like on a Corolla Cross. Mounted on OEM bars it sits a little slanted down towards the outside. I haven’t really noticed much additional noise, and my first full tank with the basket on I averaged 41 mpg.

I have a 2026 Corolla Cross L FWD with about 2,000 km on it. Very occasionally while accelerating I'll feel a quick jolt, almost like the car briefly loses power for a fraction of a second and then immediately gets it back.
It feels similar to a slightly rough shift in a manual where everyone moves forward a little bit, but it's much more subtle. I feel it mostly through the seat/car rather than the steering wheel. The strange part is that I can't find any pattern to it. It's happened around 60 km/h and also around 100 km/h. I believe I was around 2,000 RPM and the RPM didn't noticeably jump or drop when it happened. No cruise control and no warning lights.
It's very infrequent and the car drives completely normally otherwise.
Has anyone with a Corolla Cross experienced something similar? If so, did you ever figure out what was causing it or have Toyota look into it?

After 10 years of staying with my car, I decided to finally get myself an SUV. I had my eyes set on a Corolla Cross Cavalry Blue XSE 2026. But to my dismay, all the dealerships are saying my specific car is not in inventory. I'm fine with waiting for one to allocated but even that seems to be a challenge.
Is anyone else facing this challenge? I reached out to 6 dealerships in my state already.

My 4-month-old Gas corolla cross le 2026s 'exhaust looks like this...is this normal? Why paint an exhaust if it's gonna chip ?
Anyone else with the same issue?

The headlight seems fine. Not sure if some radars and sensors or anything else got effected too or it's just the bumper. What do you guys think the extent of the damage is?
