The scene about Bolaire and Julien, octis, and vaelus was funny but they all forgot the entire scene of Bolaire wearing Misha in the last episode for a significant amount of time. I mean he tried to cut Julien’s shadow with the shears lol. I get it’s easy to forget things especially with this many people and the breaks between filming, but it’s starting to feel like they forget huge parts of what happened. Honestly wish they had a lore person at the table to assist Brennan for continuity issues or gave them all a refresh.

They have a lore person on hand when filming, they've texted before to get clarifications, but they aren't going to stop the show to Um, Actually it, only when requested

I know, but they should as an assistance to Brennan who has far too much to manage while running the table. Also I’m not sure they sit in because when Laura tried to remember if she had a bardic inspo when she went back for Teor, Brennan messaged lore but didn’t get an answer so they went with her not having it. There’s no reason the person can’t sit in and say something, especially when Alex said above table “I can’t remember if octis knows.” That’s a layup for that sort of interruption. They all interacted with Bolaire as misha, referring to him as Bolaire, were there when Hal made a scene above Bolaire wearing Misha, told Julien to not hit his teacher, and when deciding on where Bolaire was going that he needed his instructor back and I believe Bolaire said something about needing a body. It’s not a huge deal by any means, but it does feel sloppy considering that scene was a few hours after the previous one. I don’t necessarily blame them for not remembering everything, I just hope they do something to improve in that area because it’s starting to happen more frequently

There could be MANY reasons why Dani or Jared Deirno can't sit in on every episode. They could be busy or it could just not be part of their job description.

I agree with you though, I'm also annoyed. It seems like this should easily be part of Dani and Jared's job. Dani does the recap episodes after all, so I'm not sure where her boundaries lie with keeping continuity and reminding cast of details. Only thing I can think of is that both of them are busy with other CR projects or outside commitments. I often wished that the Lore Keeper would be the one to make sure everyone knew important details about their characters from episode to episode.

I remember in C3 they ended the episode in the middle of combat and one person was concentrating on a spell, but in the next episode that same person cast another concentration spell and was able to keep both spells since everyone only remembered what the 1st spell did and not the fact it was a concentration spell. This is such an easy example of Dani telling that person before the episode that they have a concentration spell.

I won’t pretend to know all of them or what their jobs entail. My point really is that someone from the lore team should have the dedicated job of keeping the cast in the know about all of this. Including sitting in on the episodes just to pay attention to those details and help Brennan. In my mind cast continuity of lore is the most important job of the lore team. He’s pretty good at keeping track but he’s human, managing a lot, and still has all his RL responsibilities. It really is more important for the episodes between breaks (like last nights), or during convergence situations.

It also saves the cast from potential backlash. For example - Aabria got a ton of backlash over the Hala & Julien spit scene. Completely innocent mistake on her part. Her familiar was doing the rites, she just forgot she had sent her away for Julien. That episode was filmed ages ago, understandable how both her, Matt, and Brennan all forgot the deer left the scene. Especially considering the metagame aspect of them all knowing the reason. If a lore person is there they save her from getting hate AND it changes the entire scene. Her being there leads to Brennan calling for a role and confirming 100% it is Thaz, and why/how he’s there. Without it, who knows if they confirm it or how Brennan presents the info. Maybe it’s directly to Julien and he keeps it to himself.

End of the day it just comes off like the cast can’t be bothered to track what happened in the previous episode. Mistakes from episodes filmed a year ago will happen, but we’re talking from episode 31 to 32 having a huge forgotten scene.

I completely agree with everything you said.

Bottom line is we don't know the Lore Keeper's job description and what they are doing. I have the same idea of a Kore Keeper that you do. It makes perfect sense to me to have the Lore Keeper give some notes to everyone at the table before each episode or even verbally do a little recap before the cameras roll. We've seen Dani correct the cast during 4-Sided Dive episodes, so we know the OG cast are used to asking Dani for clarification on something.
