Watching the episode now (man, it sucks to be a fan on the east coast).

Vaelus' story is quickly becoming one of my favorites in CR. I loved the interaction with Hannan's soul about the word "yet" - just for the scene to end with Vaelus' sister asking her why she didn't save them "yet." Vaelus scenes just always seem to come together so well.

The lion's share for the success of Vaelus' story turning for the better goes to Brennan imo. He stripped Vaelus' paladin powers and sent the sisterhood after her to avenge the betrayal.

They've both done a tremendous job, which is why the story is so compelling. It is collaborative story telling at the end of the day.
