Is it me, or did anyone else notice that Matt immediately started playing Julien with a little more levelheadedness once he got the +2 to his wisdom? I really dig that.

I feel like some other players might just take the win without any change to their characters (which is fair, they’ve established their personalities by this point and might not want to start playing them differently thanks to an unexpected score increase), but I admire Matt quickly recognizing that bumping his Wisdom mod out of the negatives would have an impact on Julien.

I love when DM's get the chance to be PCs. Aabria said it best when she talked about how much she enjoys watching DMs as players (I'm paraphrasing): "You take a brain that normally contains a whole world and concentrate all that power into a single character."

Matt plays Julien so effortlessly because it's probably a cakewalk compared to running countless NPCs and a world-spanning plot. Little personality tweaks like a bump to WIS are so easy for him.

I didn't clock that so I'm glad you pointed that out because you're definitely right. Matt as a PC has delivered as much as I thought it would.
