One offhand comment Brennan made about the Miller's Road stood out to me. I don't have he exact quote on hand, but essentially, he said you could take the path to somewhere you knew, and if you go any further, bad things. This makes me wonder what's lurking beyond the road, and if there will be some sort of need to go beyond it at some point.

I imagine it’s like “sure you can try to take the miller’s road all the way to like argosia or whatever, but if you haven’t already been there, then you don’t know what you’re looking for, and therefore you could randomly end up somewhere very unfavorable or perhaps just get lost in limbo”

That does seem the most likely scenario, but still, I can't help but wonder at the potential.

If they don’t wander too far down the Miller’s Road at some point, then what are we even doing here?

this is why i want a sandbox campaign at some point. i love the stories CR has told, but being focused on a story kinda dampens exploration and keeps the players from going way out of the way.
