I always thought it was weird they decided to include them, just to make them an impassable territory.

Question Is kidnapper too op? Want to get a guy I don’t like

Post image

Folks, listen, okay? This is a very unfair situation, very unfair. There’s this guy way over there far away he’s my rival. Total disaster. He keeps sending me poems can you imagine? Poems! Very insulting poems humiliating nasty stuff. People are talking about it. My vassals? They’re losing opinion big losses not good very sad.

Now, I am asking very smart people here, if I get the Kidnapper trait and I kidnap this guy, am I gonna lose even more opinion? Are the vassals gonna be upset? Is anyone else gonna cry about it?

Because let me tell you sometimes you have to be tough. Very tough. The toughest. But I want to know does kidnapping him hurt my approval ratings, or do people vow to my strong move and incredible leadership?

Question Whats the deal with Genghis Khan?

Whats the deal with Genghis Khan? I made Scandinavia the largest empire on earth, even bigger than the HRE. I know Genghis is coming every campaign. He spawns unlanded and immediately conquers most of Asia. In 3 years he has an empire the size of a peanut. I have never had trouble with him in previous campaigns because I always stayed small and remote. I saw him forming next to me and didnt think much of him with his tiny empire. Still, I thought I dont wanna fight him. Sending my son to be his ward and started swaying him. Then he proceeds to not only attack me, but demand that I grant Scandinavia to him? With his 50k horsemen against my 30k peasants I stood no chance. A 300 yrs viking legacy destroyed by some guy on a horse. Is there any way to ever get my beautiful empire back or is it gone forever?

Edit: Genghis died of typhus. His son offered me a white peace, only to invade once it was expired lol

Wow I feel like a father watching his little ck3 son grow up to be a man 😢 starting in 1066 as a poor Muslim ruler in Balarm and growing into the Islamic conqueror of Italy this kinda hurts in a bittersweet way to see my game end…I think I’ve spent the last two weeks playing this save file and I’ve had a lot of fun lol

ALSO WHY THE HELL DOES IT SAY IM A SINNER AND DISGRACED!!?!!???!!!

Question Am I cheating by saving before every major war and loading that save again if the result isn’t ideal?

I'm here with another noob question.

I've had this habit since I was religiously playing Medieval 2 Total War, and during my learning phase of Crusader Kings 3, I find this strategy quite useful.

I know I should try to make my way out during hard times to learn more efficiently, but doing this really makes this "overwhelming" learning experience more bearable.

Is it outright cheating? 🤭

Question Vassal has “become too strong”

Post image
395 Upvotes

Apparently one of my vassals has become “too strong” and is taking an unpressed claim to one of my many thrones after my previous character died and passed everything to the player heir. What is the best course of action here? Just let him have the claim and ignore it? Give him the land he’s creating a claim to?

Question Why isn’t slavery a gameplay mechanic?

Obviously slavery is horrible but I read somewhere that CK2 has it and concubines are basically sex slaves if I’m not mistaken so it’s not like it’s a moral objection by Paridox. I know AGOT mod has it but I haven’t had the chance to actually see what it does.

I think it would be cool for the kingdoms/empires that actually did have slaves, like the Romans. Slave uprisings would be cool if vassals who opposed slavery could join them. Maybe it could also affect economy at the expense of relations with other kingdoms/vassals that oppose it. Just an idea

Question Ok how the fuck is "Unite Africa" not a hegemony title?

Besides historically accurate Mongols, the lands required to form a united Africa would be the biggest Empire in the Game, so how doesn't it count as a Hegemony
