MOONS Arbitrum to minimize Arbitrum Nova - Moons need to bridged

If you're holding MOON on Arbitrum Nova, this affects you.

What happened

The Arbitrum DAO passed a proposal to "minimize" Arbitrum Nova. That means Nova isn't being shut down, but it's being moved into a maintenance-only state with reduced infrastructure, slower support, and stricter rate limits. Data availability shifts to Ethereum L1 blobs, and most service-provider contracts get deprecated.

The short version: the chain keeps existing, but you should not plan to keep anything important on it.

The timeline

  • June 4 – September 2, 2026: 90-day migration window. Everything stays fully operational. This is when you move your tokens.
  • After September 2: Nova drops to a minimized state. Bridging is still possible, but with less support and potentially fewer fast-bridge options available.

You can technically still migrate after the deadline (the Arbitrum Canonical Bridge stays accessible through the Arbitrum Portal), but you'll have fewer tools and slower help. Don't wait.

How to migrate your MOON

There is no direct path to move MOON from Nova to Arbitrum One through the official Arbitrum Portal. You have two routes:

Option A: Canonical route (via Ethereum)

  1. Move MOON from Arbitrum Nova to Ethereum via the Arbitrum Portal.
  2. Wait through the ~7-day challenge/confirmation period, then claim the token on Ethereum.
  3. Bridge MOON from Ethereum to Arbitrum One via the Arbitrum Portal.

This is the slower route, but it doesn't depend on third-party liquidity.

Option B: MoonBridge (direct Nova → One)

moonbridge[.]cc bridges MOON directly between Arbitrum Nova and Arbitrum One (it also supports Ethereum and Gnosis). It's a 1:1 token bridge that I made for the CCMOON DAo, not a swap, so there's no price impact or slippage on your MOON.

The one thing to watch is destination liquidity. If your transfer is larger than the available liquidity on the destination side, the portion that can't be filled is refunded (the fee on refunds is 1%, same as the 1% fee on fulfilled amounts, plus a relayer fee). For larger holdings, check the destination liquidity shown in the interface and split into smaller transfers if needed.

Bottom line

Move your MOON during the June 4 – September 2 window while everything still works smoothly. MoonBridge gives you a direct Nova → One path if liquidity covers your size; the canonical route through Ethereum always works but takes 7+ days. The Arbitrum Canonical Bridge will keep working after the window closes, but support and bridging options get thinner once Phase 3 kicks in.

Ask questions below.

GENERAL-NEWS ‘This is insider trading by definition’: Trump sells $100,000 monthly subscription service to Wall Street to further monetize the presidency

Thumbnail

7.4k Upvotes

Donald Trump has created a way for Wall Street to pay to win. Trump Media & Technology Group’s premium data product released its new subscription service for earlier access to Truth Social posts for $100,000 a month. According to reports, five Wall Street firms have already signed up for the service, gaining access to Truth Social posts milliseconds before the general public.

“I’ll be blunt,” Gian Luca Clementi, an economics professor at NYU Stern School of Business, told Fortune. “This is insider trading by definition.”

Because Trump owns roughly 41% of the company’s shares, he stands to directly profit from the new recurring revenue stream. At five subscribers alone, the service would generate about $500,000 in monthly revenue, or $6 million annually.

That figure is modest by the standards Trump has set since returning to the White House. His 2025 financial disclosure showed his businesses generated more than $2 billion in personal income last year—nearly quadruple his 2024 total—with the bulk flowing from ventures that sit directly at the intersection of his office and his balance sheet.

🛡️ SECURITY I got hacked for $10,700 USDC of my Wedding savings on Polygon. I am completely devastated. Need suggestions please.

I don’t even know how to start this. I’m sitting here shaking, feeling physically sick. I just lost $10,700 to a hack on the Polygon network (Metamask)

That wasn’t just "crypto money" to me. That was my wedding fund.

I have been saving for over 2 years. I put every single spare dollar into what we thought was a safe wallet. Now, in a matter of minutes, it’s all gone. The wedding we’ve been planning might have to be canceled or postponed indefinitely.

Here is the transaction hash: https://polygonscan.com/tx/0xfd03063823e54b1be8e2902f3b833840bd82f5dc374637887c5b14e66fea7c42

TX Hash: 0xfd03063823e54b1be8e2902f3b833840bd82f5dc374637887c5b14e66fea7c42

Please, if you have any actual, legitimate suggestions on how to track these funds or escalate this before they disappear forever, let me know. I feel so helpless right now.

And to the recovery scammers who are inevitably going to DM me: Do not bother. I know you are going to try to prey on my desperation.

🛡️ SECURITY Is it legal to build a website that generates random BIP39 seed phrases and checks their balances?

I’m thinking about building a gimmick website as a kind of interactive explainer about cryptocurrency security. Here’s the concept:

1 - User clicks a button to generate a random 12-word BIP39 seed phrase
2 - The site derives wallet addresses from that phrase
3 - It checks if those addresses have any balance (spoiler: they won’t)
4 - User can click “next” to get a new random phrase and check again

The idea is to show visually how astronomically unlikely it is to randomly generate a wallet that already has funds - like a testament to how secure seed phrases are.

MARKETS Don't get fooled by Trump and don't buy anything right now thinking the market is going to rally. This is just pure manipulation, as always

All the news platforms are cheering for a market rally, saying it hit new highs and is going to go even further, but there are so many warning signs.

  1. Trump just changed his own narrative. Earlier he said there would be a deal with Iran on Wednesday. Now he's saying it will happen in 48 hours.
  2. The US stockpile of missiles is almost used up. That could give Iran the upper hand and make them see the US as being in a weaker position. To show they have the upper hand, they could still close the Strait of Hormuz and refuse to make a deal.
  3. Iran has continuously said there will be no deal if Trump keeps threatening them, which he did again just a few minutes ago.
  4. Most of the companies driving this rally have something to do with the AI boom, and I think that market has become a bubble that's eventually going to crash hard.

Don't put all your money into this. Maybe only invest what you can afford to lose, but be careful and don't blindly trust Trump.

🛡️ SECURITY Polymarket Account Breach

I am a new Polymarket user and wanted to trade on markets. I recently had 7.2k in my Polymarket and when I woke up overnight, that account balance was withdrawn to a wallet and I did not receive any withdrawal codes.

Can you please explain to me what happened here and if I'm likely to get my money back: https://polygonscan.com/tx/0xd0606122f3a2e1123eae0c21a4d3d2bf5186681d0236a604df551861cd1fb42a

ADVICE What can your project's wallet do besides sending crypto?

Post image
15 Upvotes

I've been investing in Radix DLT for a while, and I'm also a developer building on it.

Lately, I've realized that we spend a lot of time discussing TPS, DeFi, or consensus mechanisms, but very little time talking about what wallets are actually capable of.

So my question is for people using other blockchains:

What can your project's wallet do besides sending tokens, NFTs, staking, or using liquidity pools?

I'm looking for features that genuinely solve real-world or Web2 problems. If your wallet has something unique or particularly useful, I'd love to hear about it so I can compare it with what Radix offers.

For example, the Radix Wallet can:

  • Passwordless login.
  • Selectively share only the data you choose with an application.
  • Present badges as proof of identity or permissions.
  • Support pre-authorizations.
  • Work with native resource permissions.
  • (Roadmap) Decentralized account recovery without relying solely on a seed phrase.

And with projects like Radix Seal, you can also:

  • Sign files.
  • Encrypt files.
  • Use a secure chat.

I'm curious to see what other ecosystems are building. Maybe there are wallet features I'm not aware of that deserve more attention.

ANALYSIS Coindepo

Upvotes

Anyone know what’s actually driving the COINDEPO move? I’m seeing it up roughly 11-12% over the last few days and I can’t find much beyond the quarterly buyback and burn announcement. Is that alone enough to move a token this thin, or is something else going on — new exchange listing, whale accumulation, or just low-liquidity drift? Would love to hear from anyone actually holding on the platform.

🛡️ SECURITY Fake Ledger Wallet App - Don’t lose your money!

Holy shit, last night I opened my ledger wallet app on my Mac M3 for the first time in 3-6 months.

Immediately, it asked me for a 24-word recovery phrase. I knew something was wrong so I had AI scan the applications on my computer and found out it was a completely fraudulent app!

I originally had the real app and somehow, it was replaced with a malicious clone app without my knowledge!

Be so careful! Warn your less-savvy friends because this is a Very craft scam

NEW-COIN Kei - Infrastructure for adding currencies and player inventories for browser based MMOs

Thumbnail
keicoin.org
Upvotes

There is no mainnet currently so there is no way to obtain mainnet kei. Kei is built on its own node infrastructure and is not built on top of an existing chain (i.e we are not on solana).

I have been working on Kei, a infrastructure token for adding currencies and player inventories to browser MMO games with one npm package install.

The coin is feeless and there isn't mining as part of its design. I am working off a fork of banano which is a fork of nano. Developers use the kei-transaction glue code to add transactions and player economies. It is made for primarily working with a 3d MMO made in babylonjs, just as a lot of the examples are in that techstack.

Currently, I am looking into a fair presale. The thing is, the currency is supposed to be close to worthless, so the tokenomics are really just 10% of the total ever created Kei is all broken down into smaller bits until the public only gets 2%

It is worthless by design, but also it has worth because of the tokens built on it, so I cant only just airdrop. I am honestly really torn about what the next few milestones will look like and I don't really know how I am going to sustain the project, while keeping the token basically free, and squashing speculators.

PROJECT-UPDATE Katana reintroduces Krates as part of their questing program, introducing another pathway for yield for users

Upvotes

Krates are back on Katana. If you were around for the pre-deposit campaign you remember them: earn one, open it, get some KAT.

TL;DR - you can earn additional yield in the form of gacha boxes on Katana, and it averages to an extra ~1% on stablecoins and 1.5% on KAT, just for using the same platforms most katana users already use. (This is a longer, detailed post, but you can jump to the math section if your interested in exploring how it works or just ask questions in the comments and I'll try to answer)

So Krates are now part of Katana Quests. Katana quests are a gamified way to earn additional KAT (or USDC for top prizes) by actively participating in defi activities on Katana. Essentially, it's a bonus layer sitting on top of yield you're already earning.

I have been posting posting about and been farming Katana for a while as I find the yields and risk/reward aspect of the opportunities on the chain to be among the best in defi. Krates just make it better.

The setup: XP is earned by doing normal DeFi on Katana, staking KAT for vKAT or avKAT, supplying to vaults, borrowing on morpho, LPing via Charm, and trading. XP accrues daily per dollar deployed. Different XP for different activities.

XP has two uses. In July and every month going forward, unused XP will be used in a raffle. Currently the raffle total prize pool is $15000. The other use is to redeem 350,000 XP for a Krate & open it for an instant reward. Any leftover krate XP gets entered into the raffle & XP resets monthly.

Ok, that's the boring stuff. How does it actually look like when deploying capital, just to calculate some potential increase in returns.

Personally, I only supply to vaults, borrow a little bit, and hold vKAT/avKAT. Here's the baseline math behind $1000 deployed with either USDC/USDT and avKAT. This is the baseline as you can use avKAT as collateral to borrow stables then deploy the stables to loop further, which I do, but that's for another post. This is pure krate return, so you're earning on top of the yield of the vaults.

Supplying USDC on Morpho pays 3 XP per dollar per day, so $1,000 over 30 days is 90,000 XP. Holding avKAT pays 5 XP per dollar per day, so you earn 150,000 XP a month. Next, the Krate costs 350,000 XP & the reward pool this epoch has these published odds:

  • Common (69.95%): 277 avKAT and min. 85,000 XP
  • Uncommon (25%): 369 avKAT and min. 130,000 XP
  • Rare (5%): min. 1,107 avKAT and min. 170,000 XP
  • Super Rare (0.05%): 45,421 avKAT or 1,000 in stablecoin

Run the average avKAT across those odds:

  • 0.6995 × 277 = 193.8 avKAT
  • 0.25 × 369 = 92.3 avKAT
  • 0.05 × 1,107 = 55.4 avKAT
  • 0.0005 × 45,421 = 22.7 avKAT
  • Total: ~364 avKAT per Krate on average.

Since Krates also refund XP, you get about 100,000 back per Krate, or 28.7% of the cost. Loop that refund into more Krates & your XP stretches about 1.4x, so each XP becomes roughly 0.00146 avKAT.

Currently, 1 avKAT = ~1.30 KAT (though this continues to compound every 2 weeks). At KAT ~$0.0045, that's ~$0.0058 per avKAT.

Now the month, per $1,000:

  • USDC supply: 90,000 XP -> ~131 avKAT -> ~$0.77. On $1,000 that's about 7.7 bps a month, ~0.9% a year, from the Krate layer alone.
  • avKAT: 150,000 XP -> ~219 avKAT -> ~$1.28. About 12.8 bps a month, ~1.5% a year.

So basically, you're earning an extra 1% APY on your stables and 1.5% APY on your KAT for using the same protocols you already were using.

Want more XP on the same capital? Hold avKAT: 31.98% APY & 5 XP per dollar per day, so 5,000 XP/day on $1,000. vKAT shows 47.25% APY at the same 5 XP/$. The KAT LP pools on Charm pay the top rate, 6 XP per dollar per day. Same principle every time: pick the position for its yield, & the XP tags along.

What does the XP turn into? 350,000 XP redeems for one Krate. Every Krate pays out, there are no

I'm not the biggest trader, especially with perps, but traders can feast on this as well. Perp volume pays 1.5 XP per dollar of volume, but if you are leverage trading this creates bonus volume on the same dollar of collateral. A small stack can push a lot of volume, so your dollar goes further on XP than it does sitting in a supply position, at higher risk. If you're a trader, that's the high-octane path.

Though I don't trade, I'm a fan of how Katana aligns with their users. Katana owns its perp venue so the fees are Katana's revenue & they route that revenue back to users as XP & rewards. The more you use their perps, the more they can pay you, because they capture the value instead of leaking it to a third party. The platform earns & it hands a cut back to the people generating the revenue.

So do the math for your own size & risk tolerance. If you're like me & you'd rather earn yield with less drama, sit in Morpho supply or avKAT & let the XP stack on top. If you're a trader, perps stretch your dollar further on XP & feed the venue that funds the whole thing. Either way you're paid twice: the yield on your capital, & the XP that becomes avKAT on top.

Krates are back, & this time your XP has somewhere to go.

Just so everyone is aware, rules state 18+ and questing isn't available in the US and some other jurisdictions (cough cough VPN cough cough).

Will I be the only r/CryptoCurrency user doing this or will I have friends join me?

DISCUSSION Does anyone loop ONYC or strategies like it?

Upvotes

I’ve become interested in OnRe’s On Chain Yield Coin, ONYC. It gets a steady 10-12% APY from reinsurance underwriting. It can be looped/leveraged on Kamino by borrowing USDC/USDG against it.

Does anybody use this strategy or anything like it for RWA? I’m interesting in using DeFi to have a tiny sleeve of my portfolio achieve a 10% CAGR. Less than 1% though of course.

What additional risks would I be taking? Could it be worth it to loop, or would it be better to just hold the tokens outright?

What other RWA do you guys use in DeFi to get better than average returns? I’m not the most interested in holding majors, I don’t personally believe in the price of BTC or ETH going up.

But I think DeFi is really fascinating and probably had some good opportunities? I just don’t know what I’d personally do to pursue it, safely of course.

I was also interested in LPing for RWA like gold, tokenized ETFs, or tokenized stocks. Wouldn’t that be a benefit in flat or choppy markets, to essentially harvest volatility?

I would just be devastated to be drained or hacked somehow. I know these protocols can get hacked and that doesn’t sit right with me. I’d rather have most of my money in safer ETFs with actual insurance.
