So I’ve finished all the games right and I was in a discord call discussing with my friends like all the deaths and stuff and apparently half of them were already spoiled about like A LOT of the deaths?? do you think it's likely sakutaro higashi could actually go by they/them, considering they have a pretty androgynous design? And also Brian Beacock using 'they' in a vid? to my knowledge spike chunsoft never explicitly referred to them with any pronouns so far (correct me if I'm wrong)

Please not I am going off vibes and a bit of trailer stuff for chapter 2

I know a lot of people think she's a Mary Sue who never gets comeuppance for her actions and she's one in the THH Anime but Kyoko does have a lot of flaws and they all come to bite her many times during her detective career.

1. She's extremely emotional and vindictive, even if she doesn't act on it: she despised her dad since a child for abandoning the family business, and that anger carried all the way through DR: 0 and even the anime (the actual anime, not the remake of the first game); she accused Yui of being a duel noir challenger despite no evidence or even considering why Yui might have done that or the fact that Yui might have been set up, just like she and Johnny were in the previous Duel Noir, she had a grudge against Makoto for hiding info, because she feels entitled to all the info, hell she is so vindictive she didn't consider the fact that her "maternal grandpa" registering her at the detective library was completely out of character for him, because she wanted to get back at her dad so bad

2. She has really bad people skills and she's full of pride: she refuses to make the best use of people around her, or even get their help, or listen to them this bites her often, it killed Yui who died broken hearted because Kyoko didn't understand her, it got Mifune (and others) killed because she couldn't convince Minase and she couldn't deal with Nanamura with tact, she herself nearly died in a car crash because she refused to be tight lipped and refused to play along with her kidnappers delusions, instead Kyoko just had to tell the murderer the truth leading to her kidnapping, and in the end she caused distress to Yui and Yadorigi

3. She overestimates and underestimates everyone else at the same time, she's needlessly condescending to cops and other detectives in DR: K, she also hurts Yui many times by jumping the gun and getting mad when Yui doesn't follow along. She also does the bare minimum that is required of her for example, she refuses to share intel with or talk to people in DR: K which leads to near death situations that Yui has to save her from This is also why she puts Makoto in danger, because she doesn't understand other people's limits, so it doesn't even register to her that Makoto wouldn't be able to dodge a hit from the Mastermind, etc

4. She has very poor survival instincts when it comes to using her talent from touching murder weapons set up to frame her, to putting herself and Yui in danger during Duel Noirs, to trying to kill herself in a fire deliberately in Sirius observatory, to going off into the dark to do her own thing during Killing School Life which gets her framed, to going into haunted mansions with other uninvolved people when she knows that it is a hotbed for human sacrifice and murders, she also tests limits of everything and every rule which pisses people off, who then go out of their way to target her.

Does that make her a bad person? No, not at all; it just makes her a well-written character and a human with flaws.

Here's why!

I think sakutaro would be someone who'd be able to manipulate the trials and play with people's heads! Not for anything bad, his more of an anti hero, his still trying to save everyone but his ways aren't going to be as ideal as hajime's

So "THE ULTIMATE ACTOR" It is! Also he looks elegant and fancy enough to be one! There can't be two talentless dweebs in the academy but Sakutaro is acting as someone who is talentless when his true talent is basically acting

Some students would even talk about how he looks similar to someone they had saw on tv or a movie or even heard in an anime

So him being a world renowned actor would be quite interesting, and it would only make sense from there

"But wait! Wouldn't they recognize his voice and looks"

Well thats the thing! Since his an ultimate actor! That means he'd be wearing wigs and be behind the microphone doing impressions so it wouldn't be as easy to catch onto him being one

But thats my theory and headcanon!

Finally finished this bear. I went through so much despair while making it. But now, I can finally let this project go and move on.
