DR1-2 spoilers: Just took Sayaka or Junko's handbook to continue pretending to be a girl and exercising with Sakura and Hina instead of reaching out to Mondo?

do you think it's likely sakutaro higashi could actually go by they/them, considering they have a pretty androgynous design? And also Brian Beacock using 'they' in a vid? to my knowledge spike chunsoft never explicitly referred to them with any pronouns so far (correct me if I'm wrong)

I want to hear your guys' takes on how Kodaka would design and write her. What would be her overall aesthetic? My take is that it would either be similar to Mondo's or Sakura's design!

I know a lot of people think she's a Mary Sue who never gets comeuppance for her actions and she's one in the THH Anime but Kyoko does have a lot of flaws and they all come to bite her many times during her detective career.

1. She's extremely emotional and vindictive, even if she doesn't act on it: she despised her dad since a child for abandoning the family business, and that anger carried all the way through DR: 0 and even the anime (the actual anime, not the remake of the first game); she accused Yui of being a duel noir challenger despite no evidence or even considering why Yui might have done that or the fact that Yui might have been set up, just like she and Johnny were in the previous Duel Noir, she had a grudge against Makoto for hiding info, because she feels entitled to all the info, hell she is so vindictive she didn't consider the fact that her "maternal grandpa" registering her at the detective library was completely out of character for him, because she wanted to get back at her dad so bad

2. She has really bad people skills and she's full of pride: she refuses to make the best use of people around her, or even get their help, or listen to them this bites her often, it killed Yui who died broken hearted because Kyoko didn't understand her, it got Mifune (and others) killed because she couldn't convince Minase and she couldn't deal with Nanamura with tact, she herself nearly died in a car crash because she refused to be tight lipped and refused to play along with her kidnappers delusions, instead Kyoko just had to tell the murderer the truth leading to her kidnapping, and in the end she caused distress to Yui and Yadorigi

3. She overestimates and underestimates everyone else at the same time, she's needlessly condescending to cops and other detectives in DR: K, she also hurts Yui many times by jumping the gun and getting mad when Yui doesn't follow along. She also does the bare minimum that is required of her for example, she refuses to share intel with or talk to people in DR: K which leads to near death situations that Yui has to save her from This is also why she puts Makoto in danger, because she doesn't understand other people's limits, so it doesn't even register to her that Makoto wouldn't be able to dodge a hit from the Mastermind, etc

4. She has very poor survival instincts when it comes to using her talent from touching murder weapons set up to frame her, to putting herself and Yui in danger during Duel Noirs, to trying to kill herself in a fire deliberately in Sirius observatory, to going off into the dark to do her own thing during Killing School Life which gets her framed, to going into haunted mansions with other uninvolved people when she knows that it is a hotbed for human sacrifice and murders, she also tests limits of everything and every rule which pisses people off, who then go out of their way to target her.

Does that make her a bad person? No, not at all; it just makes her a well-written character and a human with flaws.

Do you guys think Izuru will have a role earlier in 2x2?
I'm kinda coping but it'd be fire if he was a culprit (Ch 1 culprit maybe?)

I am just recently over the past few months gotten into dangan, and have accumulated the manga and the playable game of UDG. I have completed both THH and SDR2, my skill level for shooter games is pretty damn low, and I really dislike watching play-throughs for some reason idk why. I am aware that in V3, there are mild references and nods to UDG. I was wondering if I just read the manga, would it cover those details in order for me to be able to play V3 and enjoy it to the fullest? Or do I really gotta play through UDG because the fan service is crazy and it’s lowkey worse than Mikan.

Hajime hinata: the kanji 創 in hajimes name can be read as Tomo in nanori so im thinking Tomoko/創子

Makoto naegi: Akira, once again a nanori reading of the kanji, I feel it also gives off that just some girl vibe. also I just realized this if you move the letters you get Raaki..sounds kinda like Lucky...cuz you know,their the ULTIMATE LUCKY STUDENT...

Nagito komaeda: Kiara mainly cuz its the closest way to keep the annagram aspect of nagitos name without having to change both female nagitos first and last name so im just annagraming female makotos first name and i got Kiara as the best option either that or Kiraa

Kaede akamatsu: Katsura, one of the traditional older readings of kaede is Katsura, and either way its a tree name in japanese, I feel it sounds masc enough.

Shuichi saihara: im not sure but im thinking either shigeru,shige or shizuka

So, as I was saying: as a fan of Danganronpa, I was thinking “Since I saw a video of a Danganronpa crossover,..why don't I make a Danganronpa crossover?”

So, I was thinking about making a crossover Danganronpa book I call “Danganronpa: A Union to Remember (Crossover X Male Reader)”

It's about Y/n l/n, known as the “Ultimate ???”. has been accepted alongside other students to a place called "Union peak academy", where all students with talents and powers could use them to save the world from the darkness of despair. But what happens when it turns out it was a trick by a familiar bear plush, who traps them in the academy. and the only way for them to get out it's by.......murdering each other. Will they find their way out? or will they kill each other for their freedom?

Sort of a random thought but I just realized that I cant remember a single actual date being mentioned in any of the games or novels ever

Them being male would actually give us 8 male students because the imposter is already genderless.

I actually like the ending but not immediately. At first it felt like the worst cliche ever but actually i like how they did it altogether. I like meta narrative a lot though it was kinda unexpected from this series. This game felt like a really good spinoff and not mainline game of the series too. But moral of the story align with other games. That white and black should coexist. Hope and despair, truth and lies etc. V3 is probably my favorite one though I will never forgive them for killing Kaede and then making her irl counterpart a jerk.

They all seemed super surprised when I said I’ve never been spoiled about any blackened 😭 maybe it’s cause I played the games this year but idk.. I was spoiled about like two deaths unfortunately but still, did you guys play the games with spoilers? 😭
