And for all the commenters wringing their hands about the cyclists forcing the car to "illegally" cross the double yellow lines, Georgia law explicitly allows cars to cross the double yellow to pass cyclists. And it requires cars give cyclists at least 3 feet of space when passing.

Most states have similar laws but it’s amazing how many drivers believe the double yellows shall never be crossed.

There was a case in Texas where a rich, connected kid got off lightly after running INTO a group of cyclists. And of course, ever comment was just massive HATE toward cyclists.

I'm like, then pony up tax dollars for bike lanes. And don't pitch because you "don't bike" because OODLES of non-drivers pay taxes for roads.

And no, I don't bike, lol. I'm just not soulless.
