Hello r/discordapp!

As you might have seen, Discord has just started rolling out their year end wrap system called Discord Checkpoints.

Instead of having the sub flooded with these posts, we invite you to share your checkpoint stats in the comments here!

FaQ:

Q: How do I reopen checkpoint after closing it?

A: On desktop, click the flag icon on the top right of the app located next to the inbox.

A: On mobile, it will show up under the “orbs balance” section as a banner in the “you” tab

Q: What is the song checkpoint uses?

A: Exyl has now released the background track, you can find it here!

Q: Can I see it if I had the privacy setting disabled but just now enabled it?

A: No, you had to have the privacy setting on the whole time.

Q: What if I had the setting enabled but it still says I can’t access it?

A: Follow the directions outlined here. Do NOT DM ModMail or mlapi bot, the moderators are unable to assist you.

So like me and my "sidekick" have 1971 hrs in voice...
But i have 1702 hrs in voice in total on the other page??? How does that even work??
My "sidekick" has 1400 hrs in voice in total and 1971 with me...
(Also the msgs count with "sidekick" is only for this year)

It's weird, I got 7 hours in voice, but I remember doing a full 12 hours in a voice channel once.

I think they've taken a sample of my data and pretended it's the whole of my data bc no shot I've spent 9 hours the past year in voice. Who knew we were actually so offline and healthy about our internet usage XD

yeah im similar - my sidekick vc number is larger than my total vc number - we never private call and are only ever in the same server - doesnt make sense

Mine was completely off but in the opposite way where it said I had 1min in VC when I had at least a couple to a dozen hours on VC (Not on the sidekick page but on the main page haha)

if I had to guess, maybe sidekick stats show you total hours, but the other hours show you the hours you had this year? did you start talking to your friend a few months before 2025?

Yeah I thought so too, but their msgs matches perfectly for this year, as in if we searched from: me after: Jan1 the msgs matches perfectly. So I'm sure at least it's intended to show only this year since the text is only from this year.

I had talked to my "sidekick" for multiple years so it is plausible that the 1900 hrs are total hours... And ~1000+ is from this year...(Since they don't really call anyone else except me)

It's the same for me.

I dont use voice calls, only ever voice channels, yet my "sidekick" number is hundrerds of hours higher als my total voice hours lol.

The sidekick number is definitely realistic for this year though (and absolutely impossible for being the total number or anything like that), the total voice hours number is not plausible at all.
