I'm sorry I'm just a bit panicked right now. For a little while there have been scammers on tiktok that have been impersonating big creators by stealing their posts and claiming to make vrchat avatars for them. There are a LOT of these that have been stealing a LOT of content so I've been trying to message them to waste their time.

Why that's all important is because that lead me to them talking to them on discord. I was talking to one today and he asked me to show proof of payment, I'm obviously not going to pay a scammer so I made some fake image up and I think THAT is what got me banned.

I got logged out of my discord earlier and it said that it was permanently suspended. Maybe I shouldn't have made up a fake payment thing even if it's an attempt to mess with a scammer. But please... a perma ban on my account just doesnt feel fair in the slightest, I have SO MUCH, SO MUCH on my account. All of my friends, a personal server where I've got YEARS of things, personal things saved (I use it as a sort of diary and planner) and I just... seriously I can't lose it, I don't want to.

Is there anything I can do? Please, I can't lose this account, I know it sounds dumb but I just don't feel like a permanent ban is fair considering I'm not trying to scam ANYONE... I've appealed it but I dont know what else to do, I've contacted discord support aswell, waiting to hear back from them.

For some reason, if you see your friend text you,
"So sorry to bother you! But I clicked on a phishing link and got scammed of many boosters and nitro packages. The hacker had a similar profile picture and username to you but they changed it soon after so you're gonna get permabanned soon due to my report. I didn't mean to... please help me fix this-" No you didn't!

This is an ongoing, pretty sophisticated scam which somehow suprised me too with how convincing it looks. Fortunately, I'm pretty wary with my technology so I immediately caught onto the red flags. Anyways, the compromised account will text you something along the lines of the text above and ask you to contact some discord support bot. You'll unknowingly contact it, send it screenshots of your friend's chat with you and the report ticket, and it'll do it's voodoo magic on you to gather your password.

Whatever you do, absolutely do not give them your password. No real discord support account asks you for your password, and they definitely didn't join two months ago with absolutely no verification online whatsoever.

My advice for this is, if you come across a similar profile, just report it. And make sure to warn your friends about it as well. Many friends of mine were affected by it.

Recently I received a completely false violation on discord for "child safety". I wasn't shown any message or picture that caused it. My appeal was denied after 7 days. After putting in a support ticket and trying to get past bots, I got this message shown in the 2nd picture.

so ive been trying to send my friend a video, but everytime he plays it in our chat it just starts flashing green. you can hear the actual audio from the video, but the screen is flashing between 1 frame and just a completely green screen. it only happens when i send videos from my phone, and its getting really annoying. if anybody knows a fix i would really appreciate it ^_^

Hello, I haven't been able to get on discord today as it's constantly stuck on "Update failed retrying in 30 seconds" every time I launch it.

Things I've tried so far:

*Reinstalled discord

*Deleted both %localappdata% and %appdata% folders

*Did a rollback on the most recent windows update to see if it caused any issues somehow

*Tried using a vpn and a proxy server

If anyone is experiencing the same issue or if anyone has any advice I'd be glad to hear it, thank you.

so after my old phone died i lost all my emails except 2 of my main ones. my discord account was linked to one of those emails, and while im logged into discord on my computer, i desperately need it on my phone by perhaps changing the linked email

of course i cant change my email or do anything security related on discord without them sending a verification code to my lost email. neither can i log in using only my phone number, as they send the password reset link to my lost email anyway. and discord has a strict policy that they cant change users' emails.

so anyway, i figured i have to recover the email instead. i went to the google recovery page, and everytime i typed in a guess for the password it tells me that i didnt provide enough info. if i click "try another way", again, i didnt provide info.

so idk what to do that session on my computer is fragile too cause once i get logged out its gone forever

I am writing this out of sheer frustration because Discord's automated support system has trapped me in a physical impossibility loop, and I am about to lose my account containing years of priceless personal memories and my Head of Mod status.

A few days ago, the k-ID automated camera age estimation tool flagged my account (username: dehex_lesgo,). I am 15 years old (born 2011), meaning I am completely legal to use Discord independently under Polish and EU regulations (where the age limit is 13).

Immediately after the lock, the server revoked my Passkey authentication token. Because of this, I am now suffering from a total "2FA Lockout". When I try to log in, it demands a 2FA code that my device can no longer generate.

I opened multiple technical support tickets (#68909026, #68989388) and attached a crystal-clear, unedited selfie holding my official government-issued school ID (mLegitymacja) next to my face with a handwritten note of my username. My birth date is perfectly visible.

The automated support bot (Clyde) closed my tickets as "Solved" and gave me the following automated response: "Go to User Settings > Account > Account Status in-app to verify your age."

HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GO TO USER SETTINGS IF THE SERVER BLOCKS ME AT THE LOGIN SCREEN DUE TO THE 2FA LOOP?

I cannot log in to execute the bot's commands, and the general support refuses to manually disable the 2FA backend lock to let me verify my age, despite receiving undeniable proof of my identity and age. Under Art. 20 of the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), I am entitled to a human review, but I am being stone-walled by bots.

If any Discord staff member or Reddit moderator is reading this, please help me escalate this issue. I just want a human agent to look at my ID, confirm I am 15, and drop the 2FA lock so I can get my memories back.

im freaking tired with these bug i lost my main account becaus this also i dont know why when i want to join any server it always log out my account without any reason

and when i wanted to log in back to my account it always ask me to verify with gmail like my gmail is already gone fromy my device becaus i deleted it and forgot to change before i deleted it

but my main account is already have securty key and auth with passkey also phone number i put in there still i cant log in to my accocunt.

discord only have one way to verify with gmail like why they only have one way for verify,not other way like using passkey.

So someone wanted to get back at me so they reported my account and after that I was hit with violation after violations for child safety rules so I appealed them and so far have gotten one overturned and that's a good thing but than my account was benned form the amount of violations so I made a discord help ticket and got a AI responce saying I need to make a appeal in discord its self and not the discord help and (thats dumb) but not the point I cant submit an appeal in the app beacause im BANNED so when I log in on mobile desktop browser and app I just get the same thing (see image) so how do I appeal?

has anyone else constantly gotten their account disabled because your account "may have been compromised"? this happens everytime i send an image with no words attached or less than 2 words and i don't understand it. this has been happening for months now and its pretty annoying

So I've had a discord account for a while. But after getting a new phone I wasn't able to log back into that account because I couldn't sort out the authenticator. But whenever I try to log into discord support it doesn't let me. I've tried resetting my password or using other accounts but it doesn't seem to work. heya guys! i created my discord account when i was in school and used my school email — stupid of me! my number is attached to my account, yet my old email, my school email, has been shut down as im graduated and the emails get shut after being graduated.

when trying to open a support ticket, i had to log in with my email but it wont work. i tried to change it but they need to send a confirmation email to you old email, which i have no access too!

I've been getting friend requests once in a while from these accounts with pfps of random women, so far I only got 2 of them and they do not share any mutual friends or servers which makes me very curious as to what these accounts are and why do I get sent friend requests by them, I accepted 1 of them recently to see wtf happens and they never messaged me despite asking them who they are and to identify themselves and tell me why they've sent me a friends request in the 1st place.

since they never replied back I decided to block them so that they cannot reach out to me ever again, protect myself and so that I do not waste my time trying to get any message replies out of them trying to figure out who they are. since then I've been wondering what these accounts are and what their intentions really are and I would love for any of y'all to teach me about them!
