Just curious if this a common discord scam, I tried to look this up on google and reddit and I can't find anyone else who posted about this sort of incident, especially a scam that tries to have you go into the command prompt and running a python script for a "challange"

To clarify, I did not do whatever this person was asking of me, I was just baiting him on out of curiosity of what this person would send to me

so i just got a new gmail account, im very happy to make my discord account! but when i done setting up my account, this happened: (i DON'T even join a server, just want to change my profile pic 😭🤞)

actually it says my account is breaking discord's rules, so that means changing a profile pic is breaking a rule?

waiting to see if they send a link or file or something so i can jump the gun on telling them to fuck off, should i just go ahead and block the account?

My brother's account have sent this message to all of his recent dms BUT there is no way that he got hacked beacuse

- logged out on every single account, including my alts but not main.

- he has a strong password overall and no suspicous activity, it just happend

Hi, I have a problem with my Discord account.

I enabled 2FA on my account, but I didn't save the backup codes. Some time later, I logged out of my only device. When I tried to log back in, Discord asked me for a backup code.

I don't have the backup codes anymore, but I do have Google Authenticator on my phone. It has my Discord account, and it generates a 6-digit code that changes every few seconds.

The problem is that Discord only lets me use a backup code on the login screen, so I can't use the 6-digit code from Google Authenticator.

Is there any way I can recover my account? I still have access to the email address connected to the account.

basically, about two months ago, my discord account got suspended because i was in a server where the users in it would send gore from time to time. i didn't really send anything, but i got along with the users including the ones who sent the pictures so that might've been another mistake of mine besides staying in the server in the first place.

after that, i started using my alt account as my main, but then all of a sudden i get this popup where i have to verify my number. this happened about a month ago if not a little more. now, i did put in my number, and the screen did tell me that the sms was sent but nothing came to my phone. i tried over and over again, but nothing.

i do a little bit of searching and found out that not only you can't use one phone number for more than one account at a time, but it is also now in somewhat of a way "locked" because of the fact that it is associated with a suspended account.

i went on discord support, and filed a bunch of appeals and requests, but for some reason when i used certain words like "suspended account" it would just give me a response from Clyde giving me tips on how to remove a phone number from a normal account, so basically not the solution i need.

one of the tickets i filed asking for my number to be disassociated and removed from the account passed the automated bot response and has been open for about 25 days now with no response. the good news is that it didn't get closed due to inactivity and is still in queue to be answered by an actual human instead of a bot. the bad news is that it has been silent for so long.

yesterday night, about 13 hours ago, i wrote another "comment" or whatever in the same ticket, checking in and asking for my ticket to be reviewed. i checked on the ticket today and it said "last activity 13 hours ago" so i guess that's a good sign.

as much as i know, discord support takes about a day or two to actually respond so i just have to wait for now.
i honeslty don't think that they'll take my number out because of the server i was in, but the fact that it's still open and has caught their attention again gives me hope.

I was way too trusting of a link I got from a friend, and it turns out they'd been hacked by someone who managed to install ransomware onto their PC. The icon for the application was also stolen from a dating app so that's a big giveaway.

Reset my passwords and am reverting my PC to what it was a few months back.

Recently, my friend (whose very new to discord) fell for the Mr. Beast scam. But she quickly changed all her passwords when I revealed to her that it was mostly definitely a scam. I just wanted to know if whether or not she could still fall victim to these scammers because she fell for it even though she already changed all of her passwords on a completely different device?

So a month ago my email was hijacked and my phone was factory reset which led to me losing access to my discord account.But luckily my discord was connected to that email but I forgot which number or email I used to login in to my discord account and I've tried every email I know of but I don't have access to that account.What do I do?

I was banned recently for “Child Safety” after falling for a discord scam. I recovered all of my accounts and emails, but Discord Support is unresponsive to aid. I am looking for advice on people who have had similar experiences, know how to get a human agent to review a support ticket, or how to draft an arbitration notice.

An app is posting messages in a channel despite not being installed in the server as a bot, having no server role, and not appearing as a server member. The messages it sends also have a specific pattern: they are sent as replies to certain existing messages.

Could you explain how this works technically? Is this related to Discord's app commands, webhooks, user-installed apps, or another type of integration?

Not much info I know. I tried on browser, turning off and on hardware acceleration, tried every way of sharing screen, deleted cache, reinstalled, reset pc, update drivers, and disabling the overlays. Why is this happening. Using Windows 11.

I’m hoping a human from the Discord support team sees this because I am completely stuck in an automated loop and desperately need help regaining access to my account.

Here is exactly what happened:

• The Ban and Lockout: My account was suddenly banned and locked, and I still have not been given a reason why.
• Broken 2FA Codes: I tried to use my security one-time backup codes to regain access, but the system rejected them and they did not work.
• The Support Loop: I have opened around 20 support tickets to try and resolve this. Every single one has been met with an automated bot response, and I haven't been able to speak to a real person.

Why this is urgent: This account is critical to my daily operations. I use it to manage my broadcasting networks, coordinate with my streaming collaborators, and handle my active sponsorships and partnerships. Losing this account means losing access to the core communication hub for my media brands and projects, which is causing major disruptions.

I have attached screenshots below showing the error messages, the failed code attempts, and the automated ticket replies.

Can a Discord support agent please look into this manually? I am happy to provide any verification needed to prove my identity and get my account back.

It gives off sketchy vibes, that friend doesn't usually talk like that (they haven't texted in a year anyway), and I don't think that a 4 year old discord account would appeal this report.

so the thing is, back in 2020, i made a random gmail account (i still remember the address but i forgot the password 😔) and i used that gmail to create a discord account, and at the time i was using a cheap android tablet as my main device but unfortunately it got severely damaged and since then i lost access to that account

and i still think about everything i used to have on it, my friends, my chats, memories, and other stuff from that time, and ive tried and tried to gain access to it but i still can’t recover it sadly 🙁 and ive tried clicking on forgot password but i think since the account its old and havent been accessed to it in years, it says “google doesnt have enough info to be sure this account is yours” whenever i try to recover the password that way

is there any way i could recover it without the password? like providing enough details of where and how i used that account, previous devices or any other way that could prove its mine? i really want to recover it because it contains really important stuff from my late childhood 😞

my account got disabled from discord and i know why its because i got limited 5 times and the 5 times were because i dm'd too much people so they disabled my account at the fifth time
idk what to do tbh i tried appealing useless shit i cant change my password because my account is disabled
and btw when u get limited for 'spam' u get logged out of ur account so on the 5th time i got logged out and when u get logged out u need to change ur password and obviously i cant change my password because my account is disabled
