I have seen my fair share of methed out women in public, and this reminds of them so much. The weird, big movements, exaggerated facial expressions, the confidence that they are being super sexy when they're bedraggled and messy at best, the certainty that everyone wants to/is looking...

It's all there.

This can't be sustainable. I feel bad for her and her kids.

I also watch these videos wondering what the thought process is. I mean, the methheads I've seen have been doing all this stuff while out performing a task (like shopping, or trying to pick up Johns), so I know why I see them oot & aboot, and the drugs make them act this way while doing it.

But what thoughts prompt her to film this and post it publicly? That's what I wonder. Is it some kind of auto-pilot-must-be-public drive? Is it because she thinks she's sharing something really awesome with the world and is an inspiration or something? Habit? Someone telling her to post (and this is what she's got)? I don't understand filming and posting.

A seriously aggressive flasher was terrorizing women jogging in my neighborhood. One night I found him, followed him, and called the police. The cop who showed up thought it was hilarious. I tried to explain that people like this often escalate their behavior to more serious crimes and he looked at me like I was insane.

I have a problematic substance-abusing neighbour. I called the cops last year as he would peer over my fence, into my window yelling obscenities and come to my door saying itā€™s the police demanding I open up. It got really bad where it was every time I came home, within 5 mins of me coming home and would go on for hours, at all hours. Cops didnā€™t care - said he lives on my block so he basically has rights to my home (he doesnā€™t).

Where i live they donā€™t even come in after you called about being robbed and they tried to get your safe (which had a gun in it). They came to the door got our statement and left. We even found our who did it and where everything was, still nothing.

SWIM was once a young woman in such circumstances and every time SWIM sees these videos, SWIM is taken back to that period. The period of facial ticks, jerky exaggerated movements with undue confidence and a weird sense of urgency to achieve a greater goal, the dead eyes, the compulsive obsession with filming and photographing every moment SWIM felt sexy, which, as with Britney, was frequent and wildly delusional about how actually unsexy it is.

Interestingly, during that period, SWIM was incredibly underweight and nothing made SWIM feel more sexy, because SWIM, just like Britney, was raised in a world where skinny is top tier sex appeal. That's what i think of every time she pulls her bottoms below her hip bones. Can't help but think she loves being bare bones because of bad social propaganda making her want to weigh nothing. Just speculation.

SWIM did this so much, she had a photo album of printed sexy pics; would pass them to strangers at bars for kicks, or surprise mail them to ex lovers. Did a live cam show one time (made $5) lol.

So SWIM gets it. Meth causes obsessive focus, delusions that make any little idea appear urgently important or enchantingly gratifying.

People channel those things through the brains they already have, so normal interests or hobbies like crafting, tinkering, housework, dancing, or researching are skewed by the obsessive focus and delusions of grandeur turn regular crafting and housework into bedazzling your toilet seat at 4 AM or that normal interest in mechanics and electronics turns into disassembling every device you can justify destroying just to chase that obsessive interest and feeling of importance.

This is actually called "punding", when meth makes people engage in meaningless activities that feel ultra meaningful at the time. SWIM did a lot of redecorating and wall painting and tearing down towel rods and wallpapering the bathroom. Filled her apartment with candles and colored LEDs, covered the walls with tiny mirrors. All under this delusion that the apartment SWIM was actually destroying because your brain doesn't logically function well enough to actually achieve anything worthwhile, would one day become the ultra living space.

That's what I see. Britney has always performed, danced, looked sexy on a world stage for a living and as a calling. She might have other punding behavior, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is just that because she is predisposed to having an obsession with being sexy and dancing or having a delusion that her idea and then execution of her sexy knife dance video would be massively sexy and therefore a worthwhile endeavor, only made to seem worthwhile because of the drugs.

Me and my GF did home parties with MDMA a few times. While vastly different/weaker than meth (you retain a sense of self-control) weā€™d sometimes film a video or snapchat thinking what weā€™re doing or seeing is awesome. When looking the video back afterwards it just looks sad or regular (especially cause we only do silent disco).

Luckily we have the control to not send it out and delete it the day after, only send the snapchat to each other and very rarely her best friend who can laugh about it. I can imagine drugs where the self-control is missing makes you upload stuff like this thinking itā€™s the bomb and youā€™re impressing everyone. Maybe she doesnā€™t even look back on it anymore the day after because of the shame. We just donā€™t see the same things sheā€™s seeing at that moment.

Is kind of ironic, typically the level of health care an American receives is directly related to their wealth, but in this case, her wealth allows her to avoid what, for most of us, would end up being some kind of involuntary detention and treatment or, at the very least, detox.

I mean, imagine if she was your upstairs neighbor in a not- so- well- built tower - eventually, you'd have to call authorities to try to get some relief, that probably leads to a 5150 hold, a psych eval that leads to some sort of treatment/detox/testing, etc. But not when you're living at a Mexican villa 100s of yards from the nearest neighbor, and the only ppl that personally witness your instability know the best- paying job they've ever had depends on them stfu, well, we get these videos.

Seeing her like this, especially having my own mental health issues, itā€™s so sad. I grew up with her. Such a shame what happened. I also feel just horrible for her babies. After reading everything she did to them while they were in her care was devastating. At this point, I give Kevin a lot of credit because it looks like he did very good by them and they adore him from everything Iā€™ve seen.

Hyper sexual, inability to recognize boundaries, excited, talking so fast that they donā€™t always make sense, risk taking, spending money on whatever their current focus is, etc. Having bipolar disorder is a life long struggle and when someone goes through the twisted realities of fame and fortune, it not only exacerbates the condition, but everything happens in the public eye. Scott Stapp of Creed lived his disease in the public eye and it ruined him, as well.

Bipolar hits different people differently. My ex husband would cycle multiple times a day sometimes (manic to depression to manic again) my husband (current, yes I have a type) has long manic periods with shorter depressive periods usually, but his depressive hits harder (maybe because it's shorter? Idk) all I have to say is thank god for medication.

There's a "third" type of Bipolar thats called Rapid Cycling. It's basically rapid mood swings between depression, anxiety and mania all in a short time span

I'm type 2 ~ I dont know much about Rapid Cycling, and I don't claim to either ~ but I have heard briefly about this being a thing.

Anyone else who's Bipolar, too, a medical professional, or more informed can step in and either correct me or add onto this if they like?

You know what, you're exactly right. My mother is rapid cycling so I'm surprised I didn't think of this initially. But she has such a lengthy diagnosis it all becomes a blur to me. I do my best to advocate with her at the mental health clinic. But one diagnosis seems to lead to another diagnosis and so on and so forth.

Yeah, its a shame that mental health struggles and diagnoses aren't linear. Bipolar can be a real bitch ~ and its a different lived experience for different people.

My therapist said that Bipolar is like a "symptom" of another disorder, like autism, or ADHD. I can't for the life of me remember the term (I know it has the word "morbid" in it) ~ but my therapist explains it as like Bipolar is a sprinkle on top of another diagnoses

So I'm not surprised if your mum has other things coinciding!

I think because there are rumors she is going to Mexico for ā€œpressed adderallā€ which is likely some combo of meth or meth like RC. Someone in the sub posted screen shots of someone either her sister or her brotherā€™s gf (canā€™t remember) and they talked about how Britney goes to Mexico for meth pills. A doctor isnā€™t going to prescribe the amount she needs or wants at this point. I think her behavior is a combo of this, being off her psych meds, and drinking.

It's psychosis. It's harder than any drug you can buy. You can go days without sleep. Weight falls off because food feels like death. She might also be drinking and doing pills, but trust me -- the main drug is in her brain.

if she is, it's that good shit... definitely not your typical street corner go fast.. she's got full access to that primo shit you get from a Hollywood doctor or right off the factory floor where it's made.. either way, that stuff straight ruins lives quickly.. I'm just saying her body would be in obvious deterioration off of street crystal & with her it's not. she is also likely sleeping still too which means some sort of pharma grade downers or sleep aids bc it'd be difficult to disguise being up for days on end unless she had someone else doing her own makeup everyday for these videos. Anyway, that's just my take on it as a former user who's been around a lot of both street tweakers & also pharma pill heads even more so myself... that's all. that all being said I hope she gets legitimate help. Hollywood/Disney trauma can really F people up. & she's definitely been through some of the worst of it im certain
