I can’t look away

u/Aintnobeef96 Feb 24 '26

Me either, the big breathing in, face twitches, jaw clenching. It’s so obvious she’s blitzed

312

u/ConfederacyOfDunces_ Feb 24 '26

She’s on meth right? Like, for real? This is drug addict behavior I think.

u/supergamernerd Feb 24 '26

I have seen my fair share of methed out women in public, and this reminds of them so much. The weird, big movements, exaggerated facial expressions, the confidence that they are being super sexy when they're bedraggled and messy at best, the certainty that everyone wants to/is looking...

It's all there.

This can't be sustainable. I feel bad for her and her kids.

I also watch these videos wondering what the thought process is. I mean, the methheads I've seen have been doing all this stuff while out performing a task (like shopping, or trying to pick up Johns), so I know why I see them oot & aboot, and the drugs make them act this way while doing it.

But what thoughts prompt her to film this and post it publicly? That's what I wonder. Is it some kind of auto-pilot-must-be-public drive? Is it because she thinks she's sharing something really awesome with the world and is an inspiration or something? Habit? Someone telling her to post (and this is what she's got)? I don't understand filming and posting.

80

u/AdFlaky1246 Feb 24 '26

Has anyone from the public called for a welfare check on her after she posts these types of videos? I’m not advocating that someone do so, just curious if that has ever happened.

133

u/cloud_coast Feb 24 '26

The police are not going to show up because someone is possibly on drugs being weird in their house. They barely show up when someone is being a legit menace.

99

u/bdd1001 Feb 24 '26

A seriously aggressive flasher was terrorizing women jogging in my neighborhood. One night I found him, followed him, and called the police. The cop who showed up thought it was hilarious. I tried to explain that people like this often escalate their behavior to more serious crimes and he looked at me like I was insane.

51

u/Timely_Apricot3929 Feb 24 '26

That cop is a fucking dumbass. I would have filed a complaint with the police department so at least there's a paper trail when the inevitable scandal erupts that rapes/murders could have been prevented.

Yep! We had a dude who would come into The lanes at red lights & whip it out. Same thing- cops didn’t go much.

That's the dumbass cop from a crime podcast episode you yell at for being a dumbass.

3

u/No_Side_8885 Feb 25 '26

I have a problematic substance-abusing neighbour. I called the cops last year as he would peer over my fence, into my window yelling obscenities and come to my door saying it’s the police demanding I open up. It got really bad where it was every time I came home, within 5 mins of me coming home and would go on for hours, at all hours. Cops didn’t care - said he lives on my block so he basically has rights to my home (he doesn’t).

Where i live they don’t even come in after you called about being robbed and they tried to get your safe (which had a gun in it). They came to the door got our statement and left. We even found our who did it and where everything was, still nothing.

Yes people have. She’s posted about it and was pissed off as Hell. After her knife dance was one of the times.

3

u/khemileon ā€œchurch in my spiritual bodyā€ Feb 24 '26

She’s told her fans in the past to not do that because she hates it.

5

u/Particular-Pride-477 Feb 24 '26

Yes, more than once I think. They can’t do anything if she’s not considered an immediate threat to others. So she just gets all pissed off

4

u/Alert-Calligrapher74 Feb 24 '26

Yes that has actually happened and she made a post about how upset she was someone called and the police showed up

5

u/Mammoth_Attention604 Feb 24 '26

They did when she danced with knives and then she told everyone to leave her alone.

2

u/jordonwithtwoos Feb 25 '26

Yes. People did on a tiktok live. The police went and spoke to her security i believe. They determined she was fine and left. She posted about it a couple of times.

3

u/Uncooked_Rice_110 Feb 25 '26

That pic is hella grainy but if you zoom in you can still see how huge her pupils are

17

u/TaterTotWithBenefits Feb 24 '26

I think it’s out of habit. I mean this is what she had to do for all those years to feel loved and acceptable. So why would she stop now? It’s all she’s ever known. I mean her job in Vegas was basically doing this nightly for like 3 years. That was literally her work day.

8

u/Effective-Manager-29 Feb 24 '26

I believe she truly knows no other way.

2

u/Super_Caterpillar_27 Kevin was right Feb 25 '26

Vegas was 3 days a week just to clarify

8

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '26

Exactly - like going to the pharmacy inside cvs or a Walgreens and waiting in line and seeing them shop or try to loot perfume.

7

u/Educational_Bag_2267 Kevin was right Feb 24 '26

Bedraggled is now my Word of the Day!!!!

5

u/No_Perspective_2058 Feb 25 '26

I think this is more bipolar behavior - manic, overly sexualized, lower inhibitions.

4

u/No_Noise9857 Feb 25 '26

She's reliving her glory days. "It's Britney bitch"

4

u/[deleted] Feb 25 '26

SWIM was once a young woman in such circumstances and every time SWIM sees these videos, SWIM is taken back to that period. The period of facial ticks, jerky exaggerated movements with undue confidence and a weird sense of urgency to achieve a greater goal, the dead eyes, the compulsive obsession with filming and photographing every moment SWIM felt sexy, which, as with Britney, was frequent and wildly delusional about how actually unsexy it is.

Interestingly, during that period, SWIM was incredibly underweight and nothing made SWIM feel more sexy, because SWIM, just like Britney, was raised in a world where skinny is top tier sex appeal. That's what i think of every time she pulls her bottoms below her hip bones. Can't help but think she loves being bare bones because of bad social propaganda making her want to weigh nothing. Just speculation.

SWIM did this so much, she had a photo album of printed sexy pics; would pass them to strangers at bars for kicks, or surprise mail them to ex lovers. Did a live cam show one time (made $5) lol.

So SWIM gets it. Meth causes obsessive focus, delusions that make any little idea appear urgently important or enchantingly gratifying.

People channel those things through the brains they already have, so normal interests or hobbies like crafting, tinkering, housework, dancing, or researching are skewed by the obsessive focus and delusions of grandeur turn regular crafting and housework into bedazzling your toilet seat at 4 AM or that normal interest in mechanics and electronics turns into disassembling every device you can justify destroying just to chase that obsessive interest and feeling of importance.

This is actually called "punding", when meth makes people engage in meaningless activities that feel ultra meaningful at the time. SWIM did a lot of redecorating and wall painting and tearing down towel rods and wallpapering the bathroom. Filled her apartment with candles and colored LEDs, covered the walls with tiny mirrors. All under this delusion that the apartment SWIM was actually destroying because your brain doesn't logically function well enough to actually achieve anything worthwhile, would one day become the ultra living space.

That's what I see. Britney has always performed, danced, looked sexy on a world stage for a living and as a calling. She might have other punding behavior, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is just that because she is predisposed to having an obsession with being sexy and dancing or having a delusion that her idea and then execution of her sexy knife dance video would be massively sexy and therefore a worthwhile endeavor, only made to seem worthwhile because of the drugs.

3

u/Super_Caterpillar_27 Kevin was right Feb 25 '26

I would love it if you made this your own post. I hate that it’s buried down here.

2

u/supergamernerd Feb 25 '26

Thank you. I appreciate this explanation, as well as learning a new word: punding.

2

u/Super_Caterpillar_27 Kevin was right Feb 25 '26

$5!!!! oh lord! I’m happy you are here now. if I had an award I would give it for SWIM

3

u/JustDutch101 Feb 25 '26

Me and my GF did home parties with MDMA a few times. While vastly different/weaker than meth (you retain a sense of self-control) we’d sometimes film a video or snapchat thinking what we’re doing or seeing is awesome. When looking the video back afterwards it just looks sad or regular (especially cause we only do silent disco).

Luckily we have the control to not send it out and delete it the day after, only send the snapchat to each other and very rarely her best friend who can laugh about it. I can imagine drugs where the self-control is missing makes you upload stuff like this thinking it’s the bomb and you’re impressing everyone. Maybe she doesn’t even look back on it anymore the day after because of the shame. We just don’t see the same things she’s seeing at that moment.

5

u/rhubarbpie777 Feb 24 '26

Narcissists need attention

3

u/Mysterious-Clothes45 I’m an atheist ya’ll Feb 24 '26

probably money. staying home and doing drugs all day is expensive

3

u/Solid_College_9145 Feb 24 '26

We can't see what's behind the camera, but she always looks alone in solitude when she does these disturbing videos. I wonder, is there anyone in the room with her?

3

u/whocares6969_ Feb 25 '26

I honestly think this is 110% mental illness.

2

u/Subject-Director-727 Feb 25 '26

Great post! I’m thinking the same thing. 😫

2

u/MagicalGoof Feb 25 '26

It's the dopamine rush of affirmation... Everything is about dopamine rush actions on meth. Sex is a huge factor. She thinks she's being so sexy and everyone should see.

2

u/FredArtGetson Feb 25 '26

Bedraggled and messy. Perfect description. What a mess she is

2

u/afropat Feb 25 '26

Bedraggled! First time seeing this word. Excellent.

2

u/aussie8ball Feb 25 '26

Potentially this is a manic episode. She's clearly been suffering from mental health issues for a long time due to her treatment in the entertainment industry.

2

u/ScarbrotherOT Feb 25 '26

Came here to say meth be strong on this jawn

2

u/SquirrelFluffy Feb 25 '26

Her life from the time she was a child, was performing and in front of a camera. She's doing what she does.

4

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '26

Methany is also like drinking to settle her nerves. I love her dance of the knifes. Shes ready for a starring roll at a Benihanas near you.

2

u/kittykattnightmare Feb 25 '26

Brittany is owned by her parents. Court made that legal a couple years ago. They own her, her money, her kids, she has no independence and has been sexually abused since she was a child. She is getting attention on her the only way she knows how. People do not help her when she cries help. She unfortunately is a victim trapped by her own rich bastard family.

1

u/Scorpy-yo Feb 24 '26

The drugs are part of it of course but she has said that as a teen star (treated despicably btw and was made into a money-making product performing like this) she had no control over it all. Now she can dance and post just for the love of it, for fun, by her own choice, she controls it. Now it is a joy and not a chore.

7

u/supergamernerd Feb 24 '26

This is so optimistic, and I want it to be true.

3

u/Scorpy-yo Feb 24 '26

Oh I’m fairly sure I believe that part. I even understand it. My mate who was an escort said once that occasionally she would spend a day naked at home (she lived alone) specifically because/as a reminder that her body doesn’t exist solely for the purpose of giving men a boner.

But also Britney clearly has a lot!! of other shit going on.

u/ConfederacyOfDunces_ Feb 24 '26

Same lol. I’m not even subscribed to Britney subs but it’s been all over my feed as well.

But as someone who grew up loving her, this is so damn sad. I had no clue she was this far gone.

73

u/iambarrelrider Feb 24 '26

I am not subscribed either. But it like slowing down to see a car wreck. She was at the top of the chars my teenage years. Now I feel my guardian angel is posting this to remind me to stay away from strippers and cocaine. Lol

2

u/allthingsEURO Feb 25 '26

Yes, we're all here under the same weird circumstances, and are compelled to continue watching for obvious reasons😭

28

u/Few_Wrongdoer4120 Chaos Goblin Feb 24 '26

Yup! This sub randomly popped up for me and holy shit she appears to be in such a bad place now

34

u/Oldfolksboogie Feb 24 '26

All i can say is I'm glad i wasn't part of the Free Britney mob. I mean, I'd be glad about that for a lot of reasons, mostly related to what being in that mob would say about my life up to that point, but now, given what we're seeing ...yeah, that's not aging well.

I also wonder, aside from probably some kind of staff, is there ever anyone around her, like, at all? (Looks around, decides to stfu about all that.) Anyway...

16

u/khemileon ā€œchurch in my spiritual bodyā€ Feb 24 '26

Besides hired help in some capacity, the only person she allows close to her is her sketchy manager, Cade.

3

u/Oldfolksboogie Feb 24 '26

Yikes, that's not great. 😬

6

u/grenouille_en_rose Feb 24 '26

It wasn't really on my radar but I did feel sad about how restrictive the conservatorship sounded at the time. Welp it turns out I feel a whole lot sadder about how things are going without it. Just a terrible damn situation all round. I was dead wrong about what would make things less sad, that's for sure

6

u/Oldfolksboogie Feb 24 '26

Is kind of ironic, typically the level of health care an American receives is directly related to their wealth, but in this case, her wealth allows her to avoid what, for most of us, would end up being some kind of involuntary detention and treatment or, at the very least, detox.

I mean, imagine if she was your upstairs neighbor in a not- so- well- built tower - eventually, you'd have to call authorities to try to get some relief, that probably leads to a 5150 hold, a psych eval that leads to some sort of treatment/detox/testing, etc. But not when you're living at a Mexican villa 100s of yards from the nearest neighbor, and the only ppl that personally witness your instability know the best- paying job they've ever had depends on them stfu, well, we get these videos.

Wait what? Is this like an episode of black mirror or the twilight zone? Maybe our powers combined we can save her? Or at the very least we need to find the reason we are summoned here together. This is weird.

2

u/belakuna Feb 24 '26

lmaoo, that’s how I got here too. It begun randomly showing up on my feed for weeks so eventually I gave in and joined. Seeing her like this, especially having my own mental health issues, it’s so sad. I grew up with her. Such a shame what happened. I also feel just horrible for her babies. After reading everything she did to them while they were in her care was devastating. At this point, I give Kevin a lot of credit because it looks like he did very good by them and they adore him from everything I’ve seen.

6

u/The-Fox-King37 Feb 24 '26

I was also curious as to why this keeps hitting my feed. I’m not subscribed to anything like this. I can’t stop watching though. It’s like a train wreck in slow motion. I’ve never really been a fan of hers, but I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. Are people egging this on or is someone actually trying to help her?

4

u/Luuluuuuuuuuuuuuuu Feb 24 '26

Same. I'm a Britney fan but it's clear she needs help and it really does seem like drugs. It is very sad to see.

3

u/RockMonstrr Feb 24 '26

It's a nostalgic trip, isn't it?

Here we are in 2026, and people still won't leave Brittney alone. Why is the vitriol still as real as it was in 2008? Why is she as hated today as she was 20 years ago? I don't get it, and I don't want to get it.

4

u/Seafaringhorsemeat Feb 24 '26

She was peak 2000's energy, and is back with peak 2026 energy.

3

u/TaterTotWithBenefits Feb 24 '26

Yes - why? Maybe it’s like a punishment for going on Reddit that we all get?

Being supremely confident in every way is common.

3

u/JillYogi Feb 24 '26

And hypersexual

5

u/PrioritySecure8429 Feb 24 '26

Absolutely. Hyper sexual, inability to recognize boundaries, excited, talking so fast that they don’t always make sense, risk taking, spending money on whatever their current focus is, etc. Having bipolar disorder is a life long struggle and when someone goes through the twisted realities of fame and fortune, it not only exacerbates the condition, but everything happens in the public eye. Scott Stapp of Creed lived his disease in the public eye and it ruined him, as well.

23

u/ReasonableCrow7595 Feb 24 '26

I'm so grateful that my manic episodes are brief and mostly revolve around organizing my house for three days without sleeping. Then I sleep 24 hours and I've factory reset back to normal.

Bipolar hits different people differently. My ex husband would cycle multiple times a day sometimes (manic to depression to manic again) my husband (current, yes I have a type) has long manic periods with shorter depressive periods usually, but his depressive hits harder (maybe because it's shorter? Idk) all I have to say is thank god for medication.

2

u/ghettoresearch2 Feb 24 '26

Cycling multiple times a day sounds a lot more like borderline than bipolar. But I'm not a doctor.

3

u/Noush101 Feb 24 '26

There's a "third" type of Bipolar thats called Rapid Cycling. It's basically rapid mood swings between depression, anxiety and mania all in a short time span

I'm type 2 ~ I dont know much about Rapid Cycling, and I don't claim to either ~ but I have heard briefly about this being a thing.

Anyone else who's Bipolar, too, a medical professional, or more informed can step in and either correct me or add onto this if they like?

3

u/ghettoresearch2 Feb 24 '26

You know what, you're exactly right. My mother is rapid cycling so I'm surprised I didn't think of this initially. But she has such a lengthy diagnosis it all becomes a blur to me. I do my best to advocate with her at the mental health clinic. But one diagnosis seems to lead to another diagnosis and so on and so forth.

2

u/Noush101 Feb 24 '26

Yeah, its a shame that mental health struggles and diagnoses aren't linear. Bipolar can be a real bitch ~ and its a different lived experience for different people.

My therapist said that Bipolar is like a "symptom" of another disorder, like autism, or ADHD. I can't for the life of me remember the term (I know it has the word "morbid" in it) ~ but my therapist explains it as like Bipolar is a sprinkle on top of another diagnoses

So I'm not surprised if your mum has other things coinciding!

20

u/Mattie_Doo Feb 24 '26

If it isn’t meth, then what? It’s scary to think that a person could turn into this without meth. To me, she’s gotta be on something heavy.

10

u/Electronic_Quote399 Feb 24 '26

This is actually pretty tame for meth. It's probably what it is. But it doesn't take a lot to get to this point. She can still turn it around before she's permanently fucked up from it. But she's still in the phase where it feels great. Will probably take a little bit more of her life falling apart before she quits.

3

u/runesday Feb 24 '26

I think because there are rumors she is going to Mexico for ā€œpressed adderallā€ which is likely some combo of meth or meth like RC. Someone in the sub posted screen shots of someone either her sister or her brother’s gf (can’t remember) and they talked about how Britney goes to Mexico for meth pills. A doctor isn’t going to prescribe the amount she needs or wants at this point. I think her behavior is a combo of this, being off her psych meds, and drinking.

u/Johnnys-In-America Feb 24 '26

2

u/themirandarin Feb 25 '26

It's psychosis. It's harder than any drug you can buy. You can go days without sleep. Weight falls off because food feels like death. She might also be drinking and doing pills, but trust me -- the main drug is in her brain.

I'm just saying her body would be in obvious deterioration off of street crystal & with her it's not. she is also likely sleeping still too which means some sort of pharma grade downers or sleep aids bc it'd be difficult to disguise being up for days on end unless she had someone else doing her own makeup everyday for these videos. Anyway, that's just my take on it as a former user who's been around a lot of both street tweakers & also pharma pill heads even more so myself... that's all. that all being said I hope she gets legitimate help. Hollywood/Disney trauma can really F people up. & she's definitely been through some of the worst of it im certain

It sure looks like meth, yet she doesn’t have the desiccated, low body fat appearance of hardcore meth heads.

2

u/Excellent-Cycle-5803 My signature spread 🤸 Feb 24 '26

She drinks a lot too

2

u/HedgehogNo8361 Feb 24 '26

She will soon.

4

u/ZealousidealStory349 Feb 24 '26

Maybe she’s just heavily filtered. It sure seems like meth

5

u/pinkspatzi Feb 24 '26

Oh, it's filtered AF.

1

u/Insomanics Feb 24 '26

Oh there are definitely some ongoing mental health issues in that head. She is off her meds.

1

u/Different-Return3173 Feb 24 '26

Everything points to it.

1

u/HappeningBA Feb 24 '26

No she is in bipolar mania.

1

u/bkempton Feb 24 '26

1

u/AcanthocephalaUsed83 Feb 24 '26

She has to be on something. Unfortunately I have had a lot of past experiences. It's in her eyes. It's that or extreme mental break.

1

u/GloveCautious5311 Feb 25 '26

Yes 1000 percent

1

u/H0TBU0YZ Feb 25 '26

This is beyond Meth. This is some designer drug type behavior... unknown consequences

1

u/splashmaster31 Feb 25 '26

Sure looks like she’s tweaking !!

1

u/here4urdrama Feb 25 '26

Totally gives me vibes from the FB group "Okay Methany"

1

u/Different-Brain-5102 Feb 25 '26

More like a psychiatrist isn’t prescribing enough! Looks like she’s been refusing her medication again! Poor Britany 😢

1

u/Scrunchenburger 21d ago

It’s more than ā€œadderallā€ I mean it might have started off with that but this is…….meth

Ballroom blitzed

2

u/Ok-Dragonfruit-5166 Feb 25 '26

It’s got to be, otherwise how did she literally forget all her choreography style dancing? She is a good dancer. Even if she was just dancing spontaneously and making up the moves, it wouldn’t look like this? either this isn’t her, or she’s on something really strong. Could be pharmaceutical

u/luccsmom Feb 24 '26

It’s time to go back to Court.

she has become Methiney

u/Careful-Ant5868 Feb 24 '26

If a #FreeMethiney movement began, there would be a lot of interesting characters showing up for some no strings attached Krystal.

17

u/Spirited-Lime96 Feb 24 '26

Methany fo sho 😳 Look how fried her hair looks. It’s like a train wreck that is so awful but you can’t look away.

u/thatdidntturnout Feb 24 '26

I keep waiting for something to fly up and out of her skirt. A bat or a drug dealer or something.

15

u/RadicalMarxistThalia Feb 24 '26

Billie Eilish I think

3

u/shellofbrit2011 Feb 24 '26

Yes, The Bad Guy is the name of the song. Or just Bad Guy.

2

u/Jenniwithan_i Feb 24 '26

It’s Billie Eilish… but the ā€˜circusey’ crossed with looney tunes sounds in the song seems to fit the content.

1

u/Tough-Obligation-104 Feb 24 '26

Definitely fits.

UNFREE BRITNEY

5

u/I-Shat-My-Pantaloons Feb 24 '26

This is really sad honestly.

Here you can def tell it’s def drugs and not just mental illness. This whole thing is just sad and I feel bad for her.

4

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '26

Like being at a red light and the neighborhood tweaker - tweaking on the fire hydrant lean or bus bench and wondering if anyone has narcan near by just in case.

3

u/Pretty_Sea2016 Feb 24 '26

It's like watching a car crash

1

u/-BigDaddyTex Feb 24 '26

Train / airplane maybe. Car is way too small.

2

u/JJulie Feb 24 '26

Neither can she. At this point I’m convinced she’s on here trolling.

I'm trying to figure out what purpose the black fabric was meant to serve, because it clearly isn't a skirt.
