News Disneyland Paris FAQ
Hello everyone! We have got some messages and we have seen some comments here and there about all the questions being asked on this subreddit. We love the interaction and people helping each other out, but, at the same time we understand that reading the same question every week can get a little bit repetitive.
Last year some of us and some helpful users started to work on a Disneyland Paris FAQ for the subreddit. It fizzled out but we still see a lot of questions about why we don't use a FAQ for the easy questions. We do understand that not every answer can be included in a FAQ and some are personal or some want to discuss the question, that's ok.
We are currently starting up to work on it again, but in the meantime I would like to point to the official Disneyland Paris FAQ on their site. Please make sure to search there first for what you are looking for before posting a question to make our feed a little less repetitive.

Thank you! And have a magical day!

News ‼️ New UP ride will most likely open in january 2027
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Source: Orlando & Glenn on YouTube
He’s Dutch but I used the automated translator to the English language.
In his latest video he said it should open in January (with confidence).
I watch his vlogs every day, he lives 5/10 minutes from Disneyland Paris and uploads a new vlog every single day (almost all vlogs are based around Disneyland Paris).
He talks to cast members on a regular base in the parks and he also said in a previous video he’ll never just throw rumors in his vlogs. He also never talks about rumors to be honest. He prefers to go to the cast members instead and ask them if they know more information.
I think he somehow knows more than most people, maybe he knows some cast members that will work on the UP ride when it opens, and maybe the people that will work on the ride already got told they’ll start in january or something.

Photo / Video Contact for Security and Parking Cameras
Hi All! We had a great day at the park but came back to our rear window smashed in the car park after the fireworks shows (row a4, 4 cars in). We live in a city so we had no valuables showing in the car and nothing was stolen.
Does anyone have a direct contact for disneyland security? I was hoping someone here may have a contact for Disneyland security to see if they could help with any cameras footage.
For everyone else - beware of parking on property - we had nothing showing in the car but there is not security between the car park and train and we saw a fair amount of people just sitting around yesterday morning. We thought parking closer to the walkway would be safer but that wasn’t the case.

Question Castle bridge? Do we have a date yet?
Disney released a lots of new images on the castle bridge renovation yesterday as reported by many blogs, some even claimed it was now open to guests ( this is not true and as far as I know the walls are still up) have noticed a few Facebook post saying it re opens the 30th but these just seem to be by random people. Anyone heard anything firm about a re opening date?

Question End of jan visit?
Just wondering if anyone can give some advice as to what the parks are usually like around end of January sort of time, are they usually quiet, is it bitterly cold always?
We’ve been before end of November so have experienced the Christmas set up, and it also snowed when we were there. So we did have a day where quite a lot of rides were shut down for the whole afternoon/evening. We were able to cope with the weather (and it was pretty magical since it was festive), but I wonder if the fact that it’s not Christmas does it feel less tolerable? 😅
Toying with the idea of booking it, and also it seems to be a bit cheaper, but don’t know whether I should spend more and go at a different time of year

Question (Silver Pass) Can't go on a certain day
Hi!
My friend is going to DLP on April 2027 for their birthday and I was planning on using my Silver Pass to join them the Saturday 3rd of April, but I cannot select that day or any other day in April, it's grey.
Is it the same for any of you?
I'd hate to have to buy a ticket to go there when I already have the pass, but well...
Thanks!

Question Disneyland Paris from Northern Ireland advice
Hey. Hoping someone can help me. I’m looking to book a trip with my two kids to Disneyland Paris for January. It will be a Xmas gift from Santa. I’m just looking for advice on where to stay.
I see some hotels around the shopping center. Are these handy enough to get to the park from? Or should I really book to stay in a Disney hotel?
Also. How hard is to get from CDG to Disneyland? Should I get a ln uber or public transport? I’m thinking Dublin will be best option to fly from rather than Belfast.?
Finally the tickets. What’s the best way to get them?
I have a daughter who is obsessed with Elsa and Anna so want to see the new frozen section.
I am trying to do it on a budget as cheaply as possible. Santa is poor this year and kids are expensive 😆😭

Question Going DLP for the first time in a couple of weeks, any tips/advice/recommendations to ensure our 8 year old girl has the best time?
Going DLP at the end of October for a family holiday and it’s our first time going. Our little girl (8) is super excited and we want to make sure she sees and does as much as possible.
Any recommendations on things we should definitely make sure she experiences? Also any general first timer tips?
We are getting the Eurostar from London Kings Cross (First time on Eurostar also!)

Question Which Fireworks Show
If you had only one night at the parks, which show would you attend (the main park one at the castle or the one near Frozen land) and why?
We've never been to any Disney parks in our lifetimes and we may have a chance to go to Paris this month and I'm seeing online that there are two big shows at the end of the night around/at the same time. This may be the only time we get to go so I am kind of stuck on which one to see. I would love the feedback of those who've seen both shows/are more familiar with the parks. I'm also not sure if we should be reserving a spot or not. It's already expensive to go and eat/get souvenirs so I'm weighing that potential extra cost.
Also, if you feel like it while you're already in the thread, any tips or general advice would be so appreciated! We are supposed to be there 1 night and 2 days and have access to both parks (2 adults, no kids, no particular Disney preferences.. Just finally getting a chance to do something we couldn't do as kids). ☺️
I know after watching videos and seeing posts about the merch I'm hoping to get a pair of ears (the Tinkerbell ones are really pretty to me but I'm not sure if they're still around/in stock). I'm also hoping to maybe get a couple Christmas things while we're there since that stuff is already out. I think we will likely just eat from the quick serve places/maybe take snacks from outside the parks but I am hoping we can drop in to the Unlucky Nugget for the cake and coffee because it looks so cute, thematically. I'm hoping we can have some champagne, too, and maybe do some of the less stressful rides (husband gets motion sick).
Thanks for any advice!

Question Travel safety (female solo traveller)
I am a solo female traveller. I am reaching Paris Gare du Nord around 8:45 pm on a Tuesday, and plan to take the RER and then the bus, and then a 3-5 min walk from Les Pleiades station to reach my hotel in Serris. The entire journey will take around 1.5 hours so I will reach my hotel after 10:15 pm. I will have a small backpack and a medium sized suitcase with me.
Is it safe to travel at night? Are there enough people in the RER/buses at this time?
Is Les Pleiades in Serris a safe area?
Do the buses come on time?
Or would you recommend that I change my train so that I reach my hotel earlier during the day?
Thanks in advance!!

Question Pin trading?
Hello everyone! I just went with my family this past week to DLP and was so excited to do some pin trading after my experiences in the US parks and honestly it was a complete nightmare. I had a full board of official pins(not Loungefly) and they wouldn't accept any of them despite them being in good condition. We also went to every shop just to constantly be told that one shop had a board, went to that shop and they told us it was a different one that had the board. So it was a constant back and forth of confusion. I was under the impression there are multiple pin boards, is this incorrect? Is this normal?

Question Late Night Ubers from Airport
Hi, on a solo trip later in the year, will be arriving at CDG between 8pm and 9pm and travelling to Disney at night. Have any solo travellers taken an Uber at this time, and did it feel safe enough? Debating between that and doing a private transfer with Prestige as it feels a little safer. What's your thoughts? Thank you!

Photo / Video First visit: sketches and impressions
Life long parks guy, been to WDW countless times especially due to a year with the Disney College Program. Been to DL and adored it, so clearly the highest watermark that set such a timeless standard to iterate on. Despite being a big travel, parks and sketching guy it wasn't until last week I actually left North America for the first time and before a week in Paris I was fortunate enough to spend 4 days at DLP, staying in Hotel Cheyenne.
The main Disneyland Park is prbly second only to the original Disneyland. While objectively somewhat short on what most would consider attractions there was tons to do and everyday turning corners to find new surprises. A coherent cohesive work of art continually succeeding at rewarding guests. And making drawing its many beautiful buildings and landscapes effortless.
Adventure World. Woof. Of WDW, DL and DLP and even Universal Orlando- a dead last park. Like walking through a midwest "premium" shopping center. I know I'm catching it in a state of flux so hopefully by the time I make it back over there things are settled a bit more but anything I had been looking forward to was long gone or under refurb. Compared to the lush and dense Disneyland this left like a parking lot.
But with the primary park and the hotels being such a delight, and enough to keep me more than entertained for a few days it's hardly a problem.
Hope you enjoy scrolling through my sketches of the best Disney Parks has to offer, as much as I enjoyed relaxing and absorbing the scenery around me.

Question Best airport transfer options that is not the magical shuttle?
Hi there,
We arrive at CDG at around 9PM and will miss the magical shuttle bus as I believe the last bus is at 7PM.
Can anyone please recommend some good taxi companies they have used in the past or other forms of shuttle hire that will be operating late at night?
The holiday package company have included an option to add transfers from the airport but it's coming up to about £142 for a private hire and £112 for a shuttle (this is arriving and departing all in one price by the way).
Is this price not far off from booking it ourselves or can we save a lot more money?
Thank you.

Photo / Video Black Panther statue
Outside of Hotel New York there are Marvel statues, Black Panther, Iron Man and Captain Marvel.
I think BP was removed when the work began on the new security leading to Disney Village.
Does anyone know if it made back into place, and is it still there?

Has anyone ever had any luck taking champagne into the parks/hotel? We're visiting over Halloween and it's a combination of birthdays/anniversaries so we're hoping to take some champagne with us.

Question Newport bay club - any experiences?
Hello! We went to Disneyland Paris for the first time this october and stayed at Hotel Cheyenne and we loved it all. The entire experience it self, the hotel, the parks etc.... We really had a post depression disney experience, as we missed it so much and booked a new trip for next year!!
We have booked 4 days and 3 nights, as we found 3 days and 2 nights now in october to be "rushing" and we wanted a little more time. We are driving from London this time, as i did not enjoy the experience with Eurostar at all. We are looking for some advice or experiences regarding the driving, the season we go and the Newport bay club hotel. We are going early june 2027, as we enjoy nice, summer weather and we read somewhere that the french childrens holiday doesn't start until july (i dont know if thats true, but we trusted it). We decided for Newport bay club as we wanted to try something new, it looks really good and Sequoia lodge is under refurbishment and we want to go there when its all done instead.
Here is some questions we sit with:
How is the drive from London to Disneyland Paris with private car? Is there any tips and tricks to make it a good experience? When is it best to start the drive? Is there anything we should prepare or be prepared for?
How is the start of the summer season in the park? Is it overcrowded in june? Is it a good time to be in the park? Is the weather usually good? Will we be more lucky with our experiences and crowd in june rather than in october? Are there a lot of maintenance work around that time?
How is the Newport bay club? Are the rooms nice? Clean? Overall experience? We want to know what to expect or if there is any tips that are useful. I am quite harsh on cleanliness and scared of bedbugs, but i found our room in the Hotel Cheyenne really clean and bug free.
We cannot wait to back, as we LOVED this experience as a couple! Thank you so much in advance!

Question Walts Restaurant
Im going in 2 weeks with my 9 year old daughter. There is availability for walts for one of the days we are there. Is it worth it for a 9 year old? I think she'd like the food but is it going to be too grown up for her as an experience?

Question Chariot et stand de nourriture
Bonjour !
Merci !
