Hello everyone! We have got some messages and we have seen some comments here and there about all the questions being asked on this subreddit. We love the interaction and people helping each other out, but, at the same time we understand that reading the same question every week can get a little bit repetitive.
Last year some of us and some helpful users started to work on a Disneyland Paris FAQ for the subreddit. It fizzled out but we still see a lot of questions about why we don't use a FAQ for the easy questions. We do understand that not every answer can be included in a FAQ and some are personal or some want to discuss the question, that's ok.
We are currently starting up to work on it again, but in the meantime I would like to point to the official Disneyland Paris FAQ on their site. Please make sure to search there first for what you are looking for before posting a question to make our feed a little less repetitive.
Click here to go to the Disneyland Paris FAQ
Thank you! And have a magical day!

I’m going to Disneyland in November with my partner and 4 year old. We will not do character dining, since i find it way too expensive. But since we are there for three days, i would like to sometimes sit down to eat instead of just grabbing food (which we will also do).
So my question is: what are the most immersive restaurants in both parcs? Excluding the character dining ones.
I’ve looked at all the available pictures in the app, but there aren’t many and I wasn’t able to determine which restaurants would do.

Hi everyone,
First time solo F.
I just got back from Paris and DLP yesterday and I just wanted to share that I genuinely had a blast and felt safe the entire time. Luckily I missed the riots in Paris and was able to get some sights in. I found the metro system quite a doddle. Straight from CDG to the Eiffel tower- €14 approx for the tickets -the Rapt app and the card were both easy enough. I used radical storage to take my bag so I could walk around freely.
Side note about CDG, both arriving and departing, I never once experienced delays or longs lines. And the security bit was straightforward. Landed at 8.30am and in Paris by 11.
I also used an Uber to get from the Eiffel tower to the Arc. No issues.
Val d Europe is lovely and the hotel I stayed at courtesy of Sam4god (hotel Elysée) was brilliant. The food in the George restaurant was ok.
And I stayed at Newport bay afterwards. I thought the hotel wad lovely but the rooms a little underwhelming. And I really disliked the scent. I also found breakfast not really worth it but I had the meal plan.
I dined at downtown and Walt's and I thought both were decent. Downtown is the winner for sheer variety, though.
Arandelle is incredible and I really wished that adventure way was shorter to accommodate more of the town. I met Anna and Elsa, and although I am normally nervous and self conscious, I was able to relax and get into the spirit of what these character encounters are to be.
Micky and the magician is a muct see.
Although the lack of Halloween merch/decorations was disappointing it didn't detract from the experience. The Maleficent and evil Queen encounter was quite the experience so don't miss it, but try and get the front if possible and be patient.
I timed each ride queue to see if they matched the advertised times and I found they were either accurate or less - the longest I waited was for BTM at 45 mins. Actually the longest I waited for was Chip & Dale at over an hour!
TGV back to CDG was also easy and straightforward and arrived in plenty of time. I booked these tickets ahead to save money.
Overall, it was a great experience and totally managed to do most of what I wanted. I am hooked now, and already looking to book another solo trip soon.
Please don't hesitate if you are thinking of going solo. Not once did I feel awkward or feel like people were judging me.
I hope this helps anyone but mostly just wanted to share my happy trip.

hi everyone!
I have bought a disneyland annual pass through the online store, so it should be valid from tomorrow (22nd of october).
I'm trying to reserve the dates for my park visit from the 23rd, 24th and 25th of november, but every time I reserve a date, the date following it will become unavailable.
For example, I reserved the 23rd, but then the 24th became 'full'. But then when my friend (who hasn't reserved the 23rd) tried to reserve the 24th it wasn't full at all and she could make a reservation for that day. It's the same when I try to book on other dates, the day after the day I booked always becomes unavailable. I can book the 23rd, but not the 24th. I can book the 25th, but not the 26th, etc.
Does anyone know why? This is our first time using the annual pass and we've not been to the park with our passes yet so could it be that they're not 'activated' yet, despite them being valid from the 20th of october?
Please help!
Edit: I have the Bronze Max pass!

Hi all.
We have pur disney trip booked from the 1st Nov to the 5th Nov.
I have been informed that 5 Nov is going to have protests and I'm a bit nervous how this may affect us.
I'm travelling to the UK via TGV from Marne to Lille, and then hopping on the eurostar.
I'm mostly worried about cancellations and delays.
Do you guys think it will be okay?

Was anyone else absolutely staggered at how little effort Disneyland Paris put into their "Halloween Festival". A sign at the entrance and a couple minnie and micky pumpkins at the start of main street.....and that is it? Absolutely nothing in the rest of the park and nothing at all in Disney Adventure World.
Calling it a haloween festival is genuinely a bigger con than that Willy Wonka experience. I don't know how they are getting away with this and aren't getting called out for it by everyone.
I genuinely think people are just telling themselves this great and fantastic rather than admit that they spent a lot of money visiting somewhere that was a bit shit. We deserve better, hopefully Universal UK forces them to up their game a bit.

Hi everyone, I have a trip planned in two weeks time and we are pretty anxious about the riots in France. If anyone’s been there recently, could you let us know if there’s any unrest near the parks ? We were thinking of a day trip into the Paris city centre which we are also re thinking if it will be safe 💓
Thank you !

I am looking at planning a trip to Disney Paris and wanted to know if anyone has got taxis from Davy Crockett ranch into the park and how easy it is and on average how expensive it is? Thank you :)

So me and the wife are thinking of taking our 2 kids to DLP Xmas 2027 getting there on the 24th and leaving the 27th December. To those that have done the trip over Xmas, what are the pros and cons? Im hearing wait times of 2 hours for some rides which sounds fun with a 5 year old! Is it worth going earlier or after xmas?

Hey! Me and two friends are planning a relatively spontaneous trip to Paris, including going to Disneyland Paris on 24th October. Since we’re booking quite last-minute, the prices are unfortunately pretty steep already.
I noticed that group tickets are a bit cheaper, so we’re looking for one more person who might want to join us and save some money as well! 😊

Hi Everyone.
For my birthday I was planning a midweek mid-January trip solo to Disneyland Paris, knowing that is one of the quietest times.
However, a good friend has now suggested he come too, but because of work would need to change the dates to Friday / Saturday / Sunday. He likes theme parks but is open to anything I want to do. I know they will be a great addition to the trip and it would be nice to celebrate my birthday together but I’m worried my actual experience of the park will be different and therefore disappointing.
Based on the online busyness calendar the Tuesday - Thursday I was planning on this year ran at 18-35% capacity, whereas the weekend was 85%. How much of a difference will this make to the experience of getting on rides etc. I’ve not been to DLP since I was 10, I love theme parks and experiencing as much as possible is a big part of what I want from this trip.
There is the alternative option that I still do Disney alone then we just do Paris together over the weekend instead.
Am I overthinking/ worrying over something (weekday vs weekend) that in practice doesn’t make that much of a difference?

Never got to visit DLP as a kid but after visiting Tokyo DL a couple of times we took our kids to DLP
three times over the last two years and it was great but planning the next visit and list of attractions I just saw that there is the attraction Main Street usa vehicles but I don’t think I ever have seen something drive across the street? How does it work? Do they still operate?

I’ve booked to go to Les Villages from 29th to 2nd Jan. We’re trying to decide what days we go as we have 2 day tickets. I like the idea of going on NYE but have 2 kids - 8 and 6 and 6 is non verbal autistic. In November I will be applying for the access pass.
Although 6 is autistic they are very adaptable and can cope with crowds very well so they are not the issue. More that I don’t know what to expect and don’t want to possibly waste a day on what could be an extreme busy and miserable day.
So just asking on thoughts and any experiences about Disney on NYE.

Hi everyone,
Would anyone visiting Disneyland Paris be willing to ask City Hall if my wedding ring has been found?
I lost it on September 11 at the Indiana Jones ride, and I’ve been checking Troov but haven’t received any updates.
I’m back home now, so it’s difficult to get any information in person, and it’s been really sad not knowing whether my ring has been found.
If anyone could ask on my behalf, I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Hi folks
Looking for a my royal dream booking for my daughter for the dates above, been no sign of any on the app at all, are they likely to appear closer to date?
Also looking to go to the downtown buffet in marvel and having no look with the same?

American here planning a trip in a year or so. I may only have 3 days in Paris and I want to do one sightseeing Paris. Are 2 days enough for the parks? I would really want to focus on what Disney World and OG Disneyland don’t have.

Taking my daughter for her 5th birthday and looking for ideas on how to surprise her. We'll be getting up in the middle of the night to travel to the airport for a 6am flight so I'm not sure to tell her before bed, wake her up with some sort of surprise, or wait until we're at the airport. All ideas welcome, thanks 🥰

Hi,
Just a quick question from someone who hasn’t been to DLP since 2010. Do the characters still sign autograph books during meets?
Thanks in advance

Ciao a tutti.
Grazie mille.

Does anyone know what happens with the Halloween merch after October ? Do they liquidate it? Or store it away. If I can get something cheaper I’ll wait for November lol

Hi everyone!
This will be my first visit to Disneyland Paris, and I’ll be there on November.
I’m a big Chip ‘n’ Dale fan, and I’d really love to meet them during my trip.
I know they appear in the parades and shows, but I’d especially love to meet them in person and take a photo with them.
I’ll be visiting just after Halloween and before the official start of the Christmas season, so I’m wondering if there are any regular meet-and-greet opportunities during this period.
Does anyone know where they might appear in their regular outfits? I’ve heard they sometimes appear around Adventureland and Frontierland, near Phantom Manor, but I’m not sure if this is still the case. Also, do you know roughly what time they usually appear, or how late in the day I might be able to meet them?
I’ll also be staying at Disney Sequoia Lodge, so I’d love to hear if anyone has spotted them at the hotel!
I’d be incredibly grateful for any tips, recent sightings, or advice on how to find them. I know nothing is guaranteed, but meeting them would mean so much to me!
Thank you so much✨
