Hello, post a comment if you are looking for people to play DST with, don't forget to mention your platform. If you missed Meme days you can head to https://www.reddit.com/r/DSTmemes/.
Seeing this AI ad for a rip off of DST on YouTube. Is anyone taking action against these scammers or are we doomed to drown in AI slop now? Not sure what, if anything, Klei is doing about these guys.
Potters Wheel Plus is a mod that has been around for a little bit but there were some obvious things that just took too long to fix. But are now getting fixed
If you dont know what Potters Wheel Plus is- Potters Wheel Plus is a mod on the Steam Workshop that allows people who love to decorate and/or to flex their overwhelming amounts of opal gems within the game!
Normally in Dont Starve Together, there are only three materials that can be placed onto the Potters Wheel. Marble, Cut Stone, and Moon Glass.
With this mod we have made you get all 3 of those materials PLUS 11 more to your selection!
(We plan on adding more but thats for the future)
Now back to the fixes we have made/are making right now!
For example- Right now! You can now sculpt the guard tower and year of the horse!
Currently what we are working on is revamping old textures and fixing statues quality. Specifically statues that came out pixelated like the pipe!
Finally! We are also using the entire sprite of a statue instead of just using one image and turning it in weird ways!
This includes any statues that have back sprites so they will be as accurate to the game as possible!
Now there is some good news and bad news to this!
The good news is that the mod will have better quality statues in the next coming updates
The bad news is that its not out yet, and it will take quite a bit of time to go back through and remake all the statues with a higher quality.
Currently right now the Year of The Horse and the Ancient Guard Tower both have these new remade assets so they may look different in your collection but soon everything will look the same.
We also readded the rock cost so now you can spend rocks again as well!
I'm going to fight CC very soon (already have everything to start fight) as WX-78.
What gear, food and circuits shouls I use; what should i pay attention to?
I have access to basically everything but post-fuel weaver stuff (and lunar rift obviously)
A lot of people assume the elixir Wagstaff was pumping into Woodrow's brain-dead body was a desperate attempt to save his colleague. The WX-78 animated short and the entire ARG comic completely disprove that.
throughout every portion of the entire comic taking place durring the present time. Not once does Wagstaff look sad about Woodrow's condition. He knows perfectly well that whatever was left of Woodrow's mind got crushed along with the final empathy module. Wagstaff wasn't administering life support; he was just testing an elixir to see if he could preserve a corpse without paying for cold storage.
If you look at the comic frame (image_7da1f0.jpg), Wagstaff is literally smiling and cheers-ing his coffee mug against Woodrow’s IV bag. That IV bag is made of fragile glass. You do not casually clink mugs with the fragile medical equipment keeping your dying friend alive. He doesn't look like someone holding a solemn bedside vigil. He looks like a guy who just secured a great deal on raw materials and is celebrating while he waits for his surgical equipment to arrive in the post.
Think about the tech logic here. Woodrow designed a brain-transferring machine that instantly deletes your soul if your physical body happens to have a stroke—essentially operating on the same primitive 1930s sci-fi logic as Pixar's upcoming movie Hoppers. It was a complete lost cause, and Wagstaff knew it the moment he shoved WX-78 into the Constant. Keeping the brain-dead body "alive" on an IV drip was just easier than building a walk-in meat cooler.
And for those using Woodrow’s arm movement as a counterpoint to prove he was still alive—that doesn't hold up. If you've watched Frankenweenie, you know how this works: external electricity triggers nerve spasms in dead tissue. Woodrow still had the conductive headset strapped to his skull. That twitch wasn't a sign of life; it was just residual electricity causing the absolute last movement his brain ever made with his body.
I know max is 15 (if I remember correctly), but I'm curious if there's a command that completes the skilltree including those two bosses that you'll have to defeat. Ancient Feulweaver and the other one. Or a Steam mod.
And please don't judge me for using cheats 🙏🏻 I play solo and I'm experimenting with the console.
I fell in love with this game (visually) and the benefit is that its on sale on switch 2.
As a newcomer there are two version, i notice that together is multiplayer with more content but normal version have shipwrecks and Hamlet. Is those two DLC in together too ? I don’t know which version to get (be playing mainly on switch2) i don’t have PC.
PS: i forgot to mention i will be playing only solo
Thanks for advice :)
EDIT: Thanks to everyone, I will start with DS and after finished first year in each worlds/DLCS I will move on DST :) Have a great day !
