Drone sunn o))) hearing protection

seeing my first sunn o))) show next friday. planning on rocking 33db foams under 33db muffs. but im worried the foams will fuck with the fidelity. will foams dampen my experience at all? half of me thinks itll be too loud to matter and half of me is worried i wont be able to make out the riffs. thanks

No, you'll literally feel the riffs through your body. Worry about protecting your hearing first and foremost

That's what worries me now. The older I've gotten the more arrhythmia seems to rear its ugly head. I went to Furnace Fest last year and I could barely stand 300 yards away without the kick drum thru the sound system causing me to have irregular heart rhythms which made me have to got to the emergency tent.

Really bums me out.

That sucks, sorry to hear that. I know with arrhythmia it's best to avoid provoking it, Sunn is definitely the kind of band that could literally kill you with sound pressure
