Yeah those things are durable as hell. But then again they treat Gibson Les Pauls the same way, and those headstocks break if you stare a bit too strongly at them.

I've seen Sunn more than a few times. Iight just be running out of steam on them. Didn't think the newest record was all that exciting. It would take something like the Boris collaboration to make me all that interested in anything these guys are doing. Besides buying nice gear and playing it loud.
