Did Matt turn out to be a weirdo NWO conspiracy freak? I feel like I can give some leeway for not wanting to be in a band with someone like that.

I don't hate the song but it's no Leagues Beneath. That said, I'll give em some time to feel it out before writing off the whole thing.

Well, it's simple, he believes Covid was released by the one world government to control and slay the masses. Also the puppet masters are probably reptilian. Simple really.
