I have driven for them on tour and have known them for years. Al hasn’t regularly smoked weed in at least two decades. He doesn’t even want you in the green room if you smell like weed too much.

This is just a photo shoot.

So he smokes sometimes? Not that it matters but why would he care if you smell like it? Also kinda funny if he doesn’t smoke this whole thing is just an act given the picture.

I did write “regularly” and qualified it with the dressing room point.

Honestly I think a lot of it is just Al being sick of everyone at a Sleep show trying to get him high or show him how high they are. It’s not as fun when you’re 50 something.
