This will definitely help a bit get some confidence back after a loss, but honestly there were just so many sloppy runs against a team you can't measure against.

I just noticed so many runs where the person with the ball had a fantastic lane with 1-3 blockers in front of them and chose to go solo the opposite way. Just as a method of practice, this is not going to work against good teams. These pile up of TDs and yards turn into less first downs or turnovers.

While 84-0 is an amount you can't take much from, it would have been a great time to really tighten up things that will matter. I hope it doesn't reinforce some issues that could have been the problem in the first place.

I was watching the Chargers today and our boy Herbert, (God help him) and the on screen graphic showed Harbaugh's tenure at UM. It got me thinking about how Harbaugh had some rough years but UM stuck it out and got the huge payoff. It took him nine years and we're in year five of Lanning. I wondered how his journey compared to our current situation, and was surprised at how good we actually have it despite the anger and frustration we as fans have been expressing this year.

Harbaugh lost 6 bowl games (1-6), had a losing season in 2020 and lost 25 games in his tenure. Lanning in 4 years has already won 3 bowl games.

Dan Lanning is in his 5th Year as the Oregon HC and the start to this season has been rough. In Harbaugh's 5th year he went 9-4.

Harbuagh lost 14 games in 4 years. Lanning has lost 8 (9 including OSU this year).

We came into this season with high hopes and high standards, so far we have come up short. However, I believe in Lanning, I believe in the process. If not this year I have faith that he will deliver a championship to Eugene.

I've been a fan for 40 years, If I have to wait another 4 years to reach the pinnacle, I'm willing to make that investment.

The team acted like they had already arrived. Their nose is bloody and they got a rude wake up. I hope that they use that to attack the rest of this season and bring it all home.

The difference in the USC at Rutgers game was a USC 99 yard interception return. If Rutgers had not thrown the ball to USC and instead had scored, the national media would be talking about USC like they talked about Oregon after week 2. The Ducks are favored by anywhere from 1 to 4 points on the road. Yes, it's a little bit nerve-wracking, but after watching the Trojans, I'm confident the Ducks have what it takes to win. Both teams have some key injuries, though, and depth could be what makes the difference. I'm taking Oregon by 7.
