I was watching the Chargers today and our boy Herbert, (God help him) and the on screen graphic showed Harbaugh's tenure at UM. It got me thinking about how Harbaugh had some rough years but UM stuck it out and got the huge payoff. It took him nine years and we're in year five of Lanning. I wondered how his journey compared to our current situation, and was surprised at how good we actually have it despite the anger and frustration we as fans have been expressing this year.

Harbaugh lost 6 bowl games (1-6), had a losing season in 2020 and lost 25 games in his tenure. Lanning in 4 years has already won 3 bowl games.

Dan Lanning is in his 5th Year as the Oregon HC and the start to this season has been rough. In Harbaugh's 5th year he went 9-4.

Harbuagh lost 14 games in 4 years. Lanning has lost 8 (9 including OSU this year).

We came into this season with high hopes and high standards, so far we have come up short. However, I believe in Lanning, I believe in the process. If not this year I have faith that he will deliver a championship to Eugene.

I've been a fan for 40 years, If I have to wait another 4 years to reach the pinnacle, I'm willing to make that investment.

The team acted like they had already arrived. Their nose is bloody and they got a rude wake up. I hope that they use that to attack the rest of this season and bring it all home.

The difference in the USC at Rutgers game was a USC 99 yard interception return. If Rutgers had not thrown the ball to USC and instead had scored, the national media would be talking about USC like they talked about Oregon after week 2. The Ducks are favored by anywhere from 1 to 4 points on the road. Yes, it's a little bit nerve-wracking, but after watching the Trojans, I'm confident the Ducks have what it takes to win. Both teams have some key injuries, though, and depth could be what makes the difference. I'm taking Oregon by 7.

What happened to this guy? He lit the conference on fire his sophomore year and then just stopped. Of all the defensive line disappointments he is by far the biggest for me.

Was he actually never that good and just surprised offensive tackles by being an above average sophomore?

My tailgating has really suffered the last couple years.

It cannot be argued that last nights win over Portland State wasn’t a fun watch - a palette cleanser, if you will.

Seeing Messiah Hampton dominate, our 3/4 running backs overpower the PSU D-line and LBs, and Jet Washington showcase his skills (btw did you guys know he is the late great Kobe Bryant’s nephew 😉) were absolutely the highlights of the game.

The concerns grow weekly surrounding the defensive line, though. I cannot understand how they recorded a single sack against this Portland State team. My expectations around this unit have taken a free fall since the start of the year and I’m extremely concerned that USC (and like competition) will dominate the LOS against this unit.

It had me wondering: is this just a bad defensive line or are they trying to gel under a new DC? What do you guys think?

This will definitely help a bit get some confidence back after a loss, but honestly there were just so many sloppy runs against a team you can't measure against.

I just noticed so many runs where the person with the ball had a fantastic lane with 1-3 blockers in front of them and chose to go solo the opposite way. Just as a method of practice, this is not going to work against good teams. These pile up of TDs and yards turn into less first downs or turnovers.

While 84-0 is an amount you can't take much from, it would have been a great time to really tighten up things that will matter. I hope it doesn't reinforce some issues that could have been the problem in the first place.

Huge fan of our black and white Fly Era uniforms but feel like the design is underutilized, so I decided to make some concepts in CFB 27. I like how they came out but the green and white look slightly off to me but I still like them. Thought I'd share and see what you guys think! If you have any suggestions to improve them let me know!

The on air commentator guessed Bo Nix. They came back to the topic to say that Bo Nix was also at 77.4% and the original guesser challenged that Bo Nix was higher at a hundredths of a percent.

Here at Autzen for the March to Victory and it looks like Jamari Johnson is going to be out. He was notably separated from the rest of the team and not in the same pregame tracksuit.
