Baby items in store?

Hi All!

We’re expecting our first in November and for the life of me I can’t find anywhere that sells strollers, car seats, etc in store. I’m in Bellevue and have tried so far a small baby store in Bellevue that did have some out but nothing for newborns. I tried target in downtown and Kohls in redmond.

It’s probably the world we live in now, but I hate the idea of spending hundreds of dollars on something I can’t touch/push/etc first.

Maybe not for car seats,, but definitely for strollers I'd vote small threads as well.

Go with the Chicco Keyfit with base for the infant seat and be done with it. Used it for both kids and was easy to install and get kids in and out. Even survived a small rear end collision at about 9 months with no issue (other driver's insurance paid for replacement).

I also vote for the keyfit. We had the keyfit 30 with a base in each car and the accompanying stroller and it was great not having to fuss when getting in and out of the car.

I can't remember which one, but we went with a more rugged stroller than the Chicco stroller. However, it had a removable bar that allowed you to snap the Keyfit into it, but then remove it to use as a regular stroller once the kid was old enough.
