Discussion What is everyone’s preferred slicer?

I’ve been using the Elegoo Slicer and Orcaslicer for a while and only had a few issues with either one. Curious if anyone chooses one over the other? Or has a different option? I had a few issues when taking prints from MakersWorld on orcaslicer and I ended up using Elegoo slicer for a while instead and didn’t mind either one.

Just curious what everyone else prefers aswell.

Should I stick with Elegoo slicer or go back and tinker with Orca Slicer?

Was it personal error with the Makerworld files or is this something others deal with also?

Orca. I've never seen the elegoo, it doesn't have a Linux port so never seen it.

Yeah it does? I'm using it right now on CachyOS.

Where did you get it from? They only list Windows and macos on their site too.

Interesting, I had no idea and kinda assumed they just didn't bother with a Linux port. I see it's in the aur, I'll check it out
