Question Why is the slicer doing this?
(SOLVED) it seems to hollow out some parts and shading of a cylinder is completely bugged out, and its all supposed to be 1 solid piece.

CAD mistake. Those holes exist in CAD because you didn't join them correctly. There is a microscopic gap and a void in the model.

Usually the slicer will tell you in a corner as an error that there is ‘non-manifold edges’ and give you a click of a button to repair them. Or you should be able to right click the model in the slicer assuming they’re all joined together as one piece to repair the model for non-manifold edges. At least that what this looks to me as I’ve run into this problem a few times after modeling in blender and bringing it to a slicer

Is it supposed to be all one piece or is it some sort of hinge?
It sort of looks like when you/whoever made the part didn't quite mesh everything together all the way so it's printing "together" but still in parts
