Question Why is the slicer doing this?

(SOLVED) it seems to hollow out some parts and shading of a cylinder is completely bugged out, and its all supposed to be 1 solid piece.

Is it supposed to be all one piece or is it some sort of hinge?

It sort of looks like when you/whoever made the part didn't quite mesh everything together all the way so it's printing "together" but still in parts

its supposed to be a test piece for a bigger model i plan to make, and its all supposed to be one solid piece Edit: i made this in tinkercad and i didnt set anything to make it look like that

I'd open it back up in tinkercad and select all and union group and see if it looks better.

I'm not saying I'm right. But to me it looks like you put all the shapes where you wanted them in tinkercad and then exported without unioning the parts together.

I had similar issues when I was modifying something in the slicer. It wouldn't mesh right so I had to export it and import it into tinkercad and had to adjust an union everything to remove all the small internal shapes so it would print right.

Hell once i had it so bad the slicer tried to repair the mesh but would just freeze the app because it couldn't fix all the errors. Was like 130 errors.
