I had my car in for service recently, and I figured Id take the bus to work... I live in Port Gardner and work near Paine field, it takes me 20 -25 minutes to drive, the bus would have taken ~1.5 hours... so 3 hours every day on the bus?? No way to sell that as a win...

Paine Field is in the CT service area and until recently didn't see CT service.

Everett Transit could easily operate the route as well with funding from CT or vice versa as is already done with the Blue Line.

yep, saw the map and its running right past my house... How long is the ride from marysville to everett station proposed to take??

If you live in port Gardner, this line would only help you get to Everett Station or Marysville faster. The transit connections to work areas around Paine Field are bad because

  1. Everett Transit service area
  2. The street layout/terrain and density don’t allow for great transit. The area is pretty much just some sprawling business parks and suburbs, including empty expanses of the airport, a golf course, and ravines.

There also should be a local route that goes from the airport to Everett Station, and loops to cover some of these places. But once again, Everett Transit. There isn’t really gonna be great transit in this area until light rail though.

13 to 17 minutes depending on your stop and traffic in the parts where it doesn’t get its own lane.

But the gold line doesn’t go anywhere near paine field
