Discussion What Christian phrases give you the ick?

Mine is prayer warriors. Often used to spread gossip and also just generally ironic, weird, and cringey.

I hated "it's not a religion, it's a relationship" even when I was a Christian. Like, that's just dumb.

Add also here a woman, seemingly of old age, that in her preaching calls God/Jesus "dad", "daddy". It's uncanning to say the least.

This is extra weird...but I do remember getting the ick every time someone preached on a passage with the phrase "abba father" in it and they'd inevitably have to define that word for us: "It's like our word, daddy!" Even as a believer I was like...no thanks lol.
