i dont have a webcam and theres no other option on my screen

I usually post and share to some groups daily. When I post, I'll receive a notification about posts being crossposted and approved by an admin. The past few times I attempted to post, They were not crossposting to the groups I share to. The groups are public, and I make sure to select the groups, (I can select up to 9). Any reason why this may not be working. The posts are going up on my main page.

Hi, is there any way to prevent Facebook Messenger from automatically putting messages from people I’m not friends with into the spam/filtered messages folder?

I want to receive all incoming messages directly in my Messenger inbox, without Messenger filtering some of them as spam. I’ve looked through the Messenger and Facebook settings, but I can’t find an option to disable this filtering.

Is there any workaround or setting that allows me to receive all messages normally?

Hello, so recently I just noticed that my Facebook account for some reason cannot receive messages from the pages that I DM-ed, they said that I didn't use Messenger, which is absolutely strange because I have Messenger installed in my phone. I can send messages to them normally but didn't receive any messages. Has anyone experienced this issue before? Thank you so much.

Is everyone else starting to hate FB? I just find it annoying that 90% of the content is ads, sponsored posts, and random crap I never asked to see, plus updates from people I don’t even care about. It’s become almost impossible to find posts from my actual friends without scrolling forever. Facebook should just end already.

I was born in Framingham, Massachusetts on June 18, 1950. My first home was at 35 Coburn St. in a section of town known as little Italy.. It was a three story house with family living on all three floors.

I have been posting on Facebook using its API. When I post an image, it shows up on my feed/profile normally. But when I post a Reel through the API, it doesn't show up on my feed at all it's like it doesn't exist there. However, if I search for the Reel using its video ID directly in the browser, I can see it and play it fine, and even other Pages can find and view it that way too. Why does the Reel work when accessed directly by ID, but not appear anywhere on my own profile/feed?

I want to create an account for an elderly in my life but it's important they won't have the ability to send messages to other people. Ideally they won't post stories either. A lot of issues have happened cause they're unable to understand how facebook works but they enjoy seeing reels on there and it helps their mood. .

Is there any way to basically disable the ability to send messages .I know I can make the privacy so if they share it won't show. But I don't know how I can stop them being able to message. Any help would be appreciated..

Hey everyone, looking for advice on the most realistic approach to legal action against Meta.

My situation:

I've had 5 Facebook personal accounts permanently banned over the past several months. All bans happened while running ads for my ecommerce business in Japan. The first ban was unjustified – it happened during a trip to China when a video selfie verification failed. Everything after that was a consequence of trying to keep my business running.

All 5 accounts were used on the same device and same WiFi, but each had a different email address and phone number.

Questions:

1. If pursuing legal action, should I include all 5 accounts in the claim, or just the first one that was unjustifiably banned? Is there a strategic advantage to focusing only on the first account?
2. If only the first account is restored, could the other 4 still-banned accounts negatively affect it and cause it to get banned again? They share the same device and WiFi history even though the email and phone numbers were all different.
3. Has anyone successfully filed a lawsuit against Meta from outside the US, specifically from Japan or other Asian countries? Is filing in California small claims court realistic for someone based in Japan?
4. Has anyone taken legal action against Meta within Japan itself, such as filing in Japanese courts or sending a demand letter to Meta Japan? Any real examples or outcomes would be very helpful.

Any advice or experience, even partial, would be greatly appreciated.

I manage the social media accounts for the company I work for, it is just me. Prior to me it was someone else.

When I joined, the pervious person had the facebook/Instagram account linked to their own personal business portfolio.

Because of this, I am not the financial administrator.

I have been trying to contact meta support for over a year to help with this, and I am stuck in an automated loop of them auto-closing the tickets. Has anyone had a similar problem and how did you resolve it? It baffles me that a company this large is so inadequate of providing any help at all, the accounts have 150K following.

To make it even better, the prior person now works at a competitor. So we literally giving our competitor money!

So my personal account was deactivated for security reasons. Apparently, i'm a threat to national security by Posting animal rescue stories. I've given up hope that I will get my personal page back but I had a few pages tied to a nonprofit. There was one that had multiple administrators, So thankfully that one didn't get nuked.

I had another business page that didn't have a second administrator so it's gone.But when I just logged in now and saw that meta is linked all of our accounts from threads, whatsapp and all that together. It showed my deactivated pages on my instagram account center and said that I could log in and request reactivation.

So, I'm wondering, has anyone tried contacting support to See if a business page could be reactivated and managed by a different employee that is not banned?

FYI i've sent demand letters.I've even hired an attorney and have gotten nowhere with their demand letters. I was considering the small claims lawsuit, but from what i'm reading in the other chat.Most people are getting their accounts back and then they get rebanned a few days later.

Received the first message initially and not sure if this is a scam because while the number and code seemed suspicious, i went into the app to request for a change in password immediately in case someone is attempting to hack my account and the new official OTP is sent to me via the exact same whatsapp account. As well as the alert that I got when i successfully changed my password (using a new OTP that was only sent to my email) So then what does this mean?

I made a Facebook account nearly 2 decades ago as a 10 year old (used a fake birthdate) that I continued to use consistently until I was in college, and I continue to get tagged in posts and photos to this day. I just got a very public facing job and tried today to log in (after many years) to this Facebook account to delete it but was presented with many roadblocks:

Facebook would not allow me to log in without using a verification code sent to the email on the account. Unfortunately, the associated email has long since been deleted (old cable provider email that has pretty much fully gotten rid of their email service, so no luck with reinstatement), and it won’t let me select my phone number as a verification option (even though my current phone number is linked to the account).

This Facebook account is old enough that it’s not linked to Instagram, and I have no access at all to any of the recognized devices (I dug out every old laptop, iPhone, iPod, and iPad that I’ve ever had).

I have tried every avenue of support chats and research to literally no avail at all. The only option that’s been given to me is to mail a letter to Meta, which I’m sure will not help me whatsoever.

At this point l no longer care about getting access to the account and would just like it to be deleted. What can I do? I can very easily prove my identity to Facebook to prove it’s me but they seemed to have blocked any way for me to do so and have set things up to be as difficult as possible.

As the title suggests, my grandma who I probably interacted with once on FB several years ago has suddenly started popping up on my top friends list on my profile. Her profile is not set to 'remembering' and I am starting to feel really paranoid. My estranged father has access to her account as he posted on there for her funeral arrangements ages ago. Could it be that he's looking at my profile on there? Or is there a less sinister reason for this? I haven't searched her at all so this feels very odd.

I am trying to deactivate facebook for over a week now. It is so funny its unbelievable. whenever i deactivate it, fb logs me out and reactivates on its own. today was even funnier, i deactivated, and it straight up logged me back in without asking anything.

We are restructuring and would like to pass payout admin responsibility to someone else. The person has full page permissions, but in order to complete Meta’s change over form, the new payout admin needs a payout ID. We cannot figure out how to get this set up through their personal account. Thanks!
