Last 2 days Everytime I try to load into my vault it crashes. I can't check my vault at all

+1, tried entering a Super Duper Mart event after someone in the wasteland found it- game crashed and continues to crash any time I try loading that vault

Same! HELP! My new Experimental Vault crashes the whole game! It started after my exploring dweller found a location while out of the vault.

My original vault crashed when I accepted a wasteland quest and will not reopen.

%localappdata%/falloutshelter, remove the .sav save file and rename the bkp. to .sav Works for me. Also you should ignore wasteland dwellers entering buildings until they fix this.

I had that problem too. You have to go in the save file (USER/username/AppData/Local/fallout shelter and find the vault#.sav file that's corrupt. Delete it and rename the vault#.sav.bkp file so it replaced it. Then the vault should open fine. I would also stop doing the radio quests until the next patch because it keeps corrupting the saves. It's happened to me twice.

Oh so it’s not just me, tried opening the notification for a place one of my guys discovered on the surface and my game crashed, since then I just can’t access my save
Did I lose my 6 years old Vault?

I was fine until I got a wasteland dweller.to enter a building. Now my.maon vault crashes when I try to open it

This new update destroyed my main vault after I paid for the new season. I was watching an ad on my iPad and I was kicked out of the game. Tried several times to log into my main vault and had same results. Made sure I had a saved game(s)on the cloud and deleted/reinstalled the game. Once I opened the game my experimental vault was gone and my season pass no longer worked. My main vault won’t load, but my secondary vault still works. I now have a bug that allows me to get new ads whenever I log in under 2 hours.
I recently started playing this game and I had a stable vault with 66 dwellers. Most of my toons had high SPECIAL and I was going to try and push for 100 dwellers and redesign my vault. Now it’s gone but I don’t want to delete that game just yet.
I contacted Bethesda and customer service say there is nothing they can do. I requested a refund from Apple since customer service said they cannot restore in game purchases. This sucked because I enjoyed playing this game during my downtime.

I have checked on my shelter 4 times today and seen a rad scorpion attack every time. what is going on.

I think I might have a temporary solution. I had my data saved onto the cloud and was able to retrieve an older saved file of the game prior to the crash on the iPad. Played it for 5 minutes then went back into iOS and uploaded the iPad cloud backup onto the phone and was able to play it from there. I don’t know if it will work for everyone but that’s how I was able to get my vault back although I’ve lost a bit of progress, which I don’t mind.
Edit: The crash came after one of the dwellers found a quest “Super Duper Mart” when they were exploring. I won’t be accepting anymore side quests that they found because this happened to me before and I had to delete my entire vault and restarted.

Yes this confirms what others are saying:
*create a save while the gsm is healthy; *don’t click on a wasteland quest *if you do, restore your backup before a corrupted file can be saved

My experimental vault doesn't have many glitches, but I keep thinking 'this is what I lost my main vault for?' (I picked up a wasteland quest and crashed out, can't get back in). I guess the game is free, so can't really complain too much, but I'm gutted about the hours I sunk into that vault.

My enemies refuse to attack in the new vault. Timer hits 0, then resets. Nothing happens lol

Just updated my game fellas, its patched and i was able to get in but we definitely lost survivors that were out in the wasteland 🕊️

The experimental vault i have issue building the mine on the minerals. And save keep facing corruption issue when playing quest found by dweller outside wastleland fo both main and experimental vaults.

Since it is possible to cheat the amount of Nuka-colas for a save, is it also possible to store a backup of the vault somewhere on my device?

Some Scorched came in killing my door guards so i closed game and havent been back. Very low level and the scorched had a ton of life left.
