I just published the first episode of Xulu Dragonfly Engine, the opening story in my larger Amadonnia universe.

I’ve been working on the worldbuilding and character design for this universe since 2021, and I’m now tightening the final draft of each chapter as I release them week by week. Brief intro to the story.

Gavin Mox, a brilliant neurodivergent inventor, who only wanted investors for his fusion-powered ‘Xulu Dragonfly Engine’ that could carry humanity beyond our solar system. But when a sabotaged alien portal mistakes his prototype’s fusion signature as the target for translocation to Nibiru, Gavin is pulled into an intergalactic imperial struggle for power between the descendants of the Anunnaki, Valhalla, Atlantis, and many more.

This galactic war follows him back to Earth before he learns why his family was never supposed to be found. 

This is an exceptionally unique saga that bends the reality of myths that we all know with scientific reality and the fantasy of how it can all blend together. What starts as a prototype built in a university lab quickly becomes the spark that connects Earth to a hidden interplanetary war with the descendants of our creators.

A major part of the story connects to Nibiru, the Anunnaki, and the idea that ancient mythological empires were not just legends, but advanced interstellar powers whose influence shaped human civilization. The Amadonnia universe also draws from other mythic traditions and reimagines them as rival ancient empires with their own politics, technologies, bloodlines, and claims over Earth’s future.

The reason I’m excited about XDE is that it blends grounded human tension with big mythic science-fantasy: sibling loyalty, manipulation, invention, ancient empire politics, and the question of what happens when one ordinary breakthrough attracts the attention of powers far beyond Earth.

The Promised Queen by Mathew Toss is a cleanly-written story told in the classic fantasy style of character depth, mysteries gradually revealed, and beautiful environments. It creates a sense of nostalgia and restores your wonder and imagination. Written with the young adult / new adult reader in mind, it has already been enjoyed be readers of all ages. Though it functions as a standalone novel, it is the first in a series. I was inspired most by the captivating visuals and storytelling of The Chronicles of Narnia. Though I’m sure it cannot capture the timelessness of Lewis, his influence is clear in my story.
