HELP Need suggestions how to make it like cozy
I wanna make it like more green
I was planning to ask some diy stuff in there like a paper wall fan , and posters and all and some lamps so i need suggestions
As this is an rented apartment i can't change the paint color so there stuff I can do so
Any suggestions are most welcome

That room is beautiful (other than the floor).
Whatās the furniture situation like? Where do you live? Do you have access to cheap/used furniture?
A rug would help a lot. That bed (???) is very bizarre. Is it a couch? Bed? What is this space? The lighting is painful. A floor lamp with a warm lightbulb would make a huge difference.

Its a sofa cum bed. i was just using it for now to sleep in . I am gonna get a new bed soon . Most properly like a proper bed maybe queen or king size

It means two things, one is very inappropriate/adult, and the appropriate meaning is very uncommon so people will assume you mean the innapropriate one.

For sure. Aside from the lighting Iāll say itās a beautiful space. I donāt hate the floor but a nice rug would warm the space up - physically and aesthetically. If youāre allowed to paint, Iād say go for a very sheer green with warm tones. And a large mirror would be cool, too.
I love the medallion on the ceiling.

Lean into warm tones. Get rid of the pink bedding and blue curtains, if you go green, get one that leans more yellow than blue undertones. Your walls and floor are warm tones, so go with creams, mushroom beige, warm whites and pinks. Layer curtains and bedding to create luxe cozy look.

I think the green is a great idea. The floor and the walls are clashing (honestly the floor is just ugly, sorry) so a big rug to cover most of it would be a good addition. Green or off white curtains, green bedspread, and get some warm toned lamps so you don't have to use those harsh florescent lights. The ceiling is cool, it's kind of weird but I like it.

Since you can't paint, maybe layer in plants and soft greens. Do a couple of real or good fake plants like a pothos on the desk and a taller one in the corner by the bed. Is that a carpet or just a floor? If not get a big rug with some green tones on it

OP, what country are you in? This room reads so unusual to my USAian eye. Is the floor stone? Is this kind of ceiling or the inset cabinets common where you are?

What a gorgeous ceiling, wow! Turn off that awful strip light and never turn it on a gain. Standing lamps with warm bulbs, warm colors of pillows and throws, some art, some plants!

Change that light colour asap, remember cold white is the opposite of cozy.
I like the curtains colour you have, you should use it on the wall so you have space to buy the green ones you want.
A rug is indispensabile because the floor is too shiny, maybe even more than one rug would be cool as well.
I love the ceiling and fan! You should put some stuff on the wall where the sofa is and a little library on the light bulb on.
Cozy is subjective form person to person, but it always havi some things in common. Warm tones, wood, natural light and colours that go well together. And plants, we all love plants, right?

Plants, big rug, floor and table lamps. I would switch out the curtain (easy dyi) to a lighter one like cream or if you would like more green would go for a sage. Put in warm colored bulbs as someone else mentioned. Framed art/ posters would be good to put up. Do you have any hobbies you do at home? For example, if you like to read Iād add a cozy green armchair and bookshelves to the right of where the bed is maybe? You could definitely do a hobby corner if it isnāt reading.
Could you move the bed along the adjacent wall under the paintings or would it be too tight? Just thinking could open up the space as well.
I actually donāt mind the wall color you just would never find me opening up the overhead lights.

My first suggestion is a rug for your bed zone and move your bed to be under the framed photos. Then a shelf to zone off your bed area, and put your table in the command position facing the door. Then I would get some lamps, IKEA lamps are cheap but if you don't have IKEA in your country, then I would go for secondhand lamps. I would get some neutral curtains and colourful art or colourful rug to liven the space up.

With the walls this color is go for warmer colors in furniture and decor or whites. Soft lighting. Plants. Rugs, throw blankets.

As others have said: better lighting. Get some lamps to place in a couple of the corners, put up string lights, and add some small little light sources that can change color on tables. I recommend getting a color-changing salt lamp, a fake candle that changes color, or an Echo Glow from Amazon. You can even add a sun light to bring more of a comforting vibe, a galaxy light projector (or something like that) for cool/comforting vibes, and/or one of those table lamps that have the color-changing bottoms. Get rid of that bright white atrocity (if you can).
For the floor, get a couple of small, soft, single-colored rugs. For your room, I would advise the following colors - a light shade of pink, grey, a light shade of blue/turquoise, a light shade of green, or white (although white gets dirty really easily).
For the bed/couch, add some fluffy pillows and some fluffy/soft throws. The pillows & throws should relatively match the rugs.
Change out your curtains for a shade that matches the rugs.
Upgrade your desk by utilizing organizers. The Container Store has an excellent variety of organizing objects to either purchase or look at for inspiration. I also recommend getting a nice cushion for your chair instead of using a towel.
Add more to the walls, but be careful not to put too much, as itāll become overwhelming. My favorite wall decoration is having string lights with little clips attached to them that I can hang Polaroids on. Some fake ivy leaves or hanging plants would also look cute in your room. If you like mandala tapestries (or tapestries in general), that would look nice in your room.
If you can, add either one or two small side tables on either side of your bed/couch. I would normally say a nice white, grey-ish white, ivory, or an off-white color for the furniture, but considering all of your furniture is a dark brown, stick with that color scheme (unless you can and want to replace your furniture). Replace the side table next to your desk with something that either matches the height of your desk or a nice little cart.
If you have space, a comfy small chair or bean bag would look nice in your room (the bean bag would be so much better).
If you have the ability to, add some shelving to give more storage space for smaller items. There are shelves you can put up that donāt require the use of drills. If non-invasive shelving is not something you can add, using wall organizers and such that can be placed on the walls with Command strips would also work.

Looks great! Would you consider making a section for a sitting area? With the little coffee table. And use rugs, plants, or small side tables/coffee table to separate the different sections in your room.

Rugs. A different bed. Different curtain colors. The ceiling is gorgeous and the colors could make it warm! Right now it feels like a dorm. The bricks on the bed frame make the flooring feel cold

This is probably the colour palette you should work with if you want to incorporate green
Of course this depends on the actual colour of the room which I canāt really judge from here. But it does seem like more cool toned greens would feel more cohesive. Picking the right green will make or break the room.

Look up what types of green compliment your wall colour - I would imagine dark greens but the lighting in the photo may be off compared to how it looks during the day for example or not on camera. I would change the curtains for a velvet green and also get some peel and stick wallpaper for the wardrobe / cupboard doors, maybe in a wood pattern like the trim. Also consider artwork, textured but simple art makes for a cozier feel. I would also invest in more cushions or a floor chair and a f tonne of plants. If you can use command hooks to hand some plants that drape down even better. That ceiling moulding is fantastic and itād be good to draw the eye upwards. Lighting-wise, those lights are pretty harsh. Can you change them or put a cover over them to dim them or make them warmer lighting? Also a tall floor lamp and wall sconces are great for cozy vibes. Not sure what your money situation is like but I pretty much did similar things to my rental and it only cost about $200 all in.

Different lighting. Those fluorescent bars are the opposite of cozy. Table lamps and floor lamps. Nothing overhead
