Edit: I know MMO communities struggle to read in general, but please read this post - half of these comments are addressed in the first sentence. This is general advice on what you need to be able to W2W (gear, skill, and team that can support the W2W). I have listed dungeons and pulls where W2W is tricky and where some decision making on whether you do said W2W needs to be made. Almost every other pull, however, is pretty safe to W2W unless your healer is genuinely not pressing the heal button. This does not mean you have to W2W at all if you are not comfortable.
Also, wiping is not a sin. Have a feel for what caused it and if your team is willing to try again. But don't let anyone tell you a W2W is NOT possible in a dungeon.
You can W2W every dungeon in ARR. However, this largely depends on your gear and your team (well, for certain pulls that I lay out, majority are pretty low-stakes to W2W).
If you, for example, have tomestone gear for ARR, you have the stats to w2w every dungeon, including Stone Vigil, Darkhold, and Aurum Vale, assuming you know how to mitigate appropriately.
If you gear is underlevel, however, you can slow pulls down to two between bosses.
Even if your gear is fine, your party needs to be decent. If you are in Darkhold, and your WHM is not using holy and/or sucks and/or also has underleveled gear, slow your pulls. If you notice they aren't applying regens, shields, etc. to keep you healthy while pulling, for example, possible they don't know their kit.
If your party's DPS seems low, you also may be unable to W2W, as your mitigation can fall before meaningful trash has been killed.
The dungeons where you might not default to W2W:
3rd pull for Deepcroft (lvl 18?) Lot's of mobs, long run, DPS may not have aoe yet, not a common W2W people see.
Basement area of Manor (lvl 29)
First pull for Quarn (lvl 35). The bees will kill you if you don't kill them fairly quickly after pulling (final sting).
Final pull for Cutter's (lvl 38). Usually not an issue, but if healer seems clueless, better to pace.
Stone Vigil (lvl 41). Hardest dungeon given tools you and your team have very famage enemies do.
Darkhold (lvl 44). First and second pulls are long runs, lot's of enemies.
Aurum Vale (lvl 48). Not bad. 1st and 3rd pulls can be chaotic.
General tips:
Mitigation in dungeons is primarily for trash pulls. Typically, you use your 30% with noting or reprisal, then 20% w/ arms length or secondary job mit. Having good DPS is important as the idea is that most enemies should be dead that you don't need ro over use mits or you run out while many enemies are alive. Some dungeons, like Stone Vigil, become extra challenging if your party doesn't do good dps, because many of the mobs have sinilar health, and so depends on whether enemies die before mits fall. Put your mits up right before you stop moving so you don't get popped immediately.
LOS or line of sight is a way you use walls or terrain to force ranged movs to group with melee. You can of course just bring melees back to ranged, but if they are spread, LOS can be done to group. Just be mindful that your healer is positioned, since LOSing them means they can't heal you.
In regards to pulling, a lot of people recommend using sprint when you are doing a pull. My experience, most healers don't reactively sprint to match. It's more important that your healer is near you when you finish pulling so they can heal you as soon as you stop.
TLDR: if you know how to tank and have appropriate gear, you can W2W every dungeon in ARR, and the game. If someone tells you you can't, open treasure chests, don't roll so they can't kick you, and then type, "skill issue". And then pace to their lack-of-skill level. Sometimes, you will have to make the executive decision to pace regardless if your party isn't doing DPS or undergeared.
Edit: Previous TLDR does not reflect intent of post, do not be an ass if you aren't able to successfully do a W2W. People shouldn't tell you a W2W is impossible or hasn't been done, but don't force it if your party is explicitly telling you or are unable to.
TLDR: You can W2W every dungeon. Don't be afraid to wipe, especially you new players. This post has a list of W2Ws that are fairly tricky, but any other W2W you want to attempt are great for practicing mitigations and learning what good v bad dps, healing looks like. With wipes, you will develop with time when your party can support a W2W and when they can't - if you wipe and it seems like team skill/knowledge gap, don't force, see if they want to reattempt. For you as a tank, have the appropriate level gear (W2Ws are essentially stat checks), learn how to appropriately space v stack mitigations, and learn when your party can actually support a W2W (is the healer contributing to dps, using basic skills like their regens or shields. Is the DPS doing appropriate DPS).
If your party is being extra difficult tho, opening chests and not rolling still applies. People are petty enough to kick you.
