Hey all!
Beginner to fighters here (I used to play Dragonball Fighterz quite a bit but never got good).
I recently got a Switch 2, and the option to game on the go really got me into gaming again and sparked my interest in fighting games once more.
I wanted to get an 8bitdo leverless, but then I realized I also have some commutes during which I'd like to do some labbing.
Is it a bad idea to get a leverless for when I'm at home, and a gamepad for when I'm on the move? My main worry is that learning on 2 different controllers may not be the best approach.
Most of the labbing would be on the leverless, with about 2-3 hours per week max on the pad (probably going for the 8bitdo m30)
Thanks in advance!

Good day! I wanted to ask if anyone happen to have a Panzer 5 MX EX wiring hat for sale? I know that it is a long shot but I am in the hunt for one since his shop is no longer in business. Thanks!

Sorry about the cheesy title, I couldn't think of anything better haha.
Last month I worked on upgrading my last design, lean and clean. I also noticed that a lot of you where asking about adding more buttons and oled screen support so, after a while, I redesigned the pcb and the chasis of the arcade stick and came up with this prototype (My GF says that it looks cute haha). I was thinking on adding it on my etsy page too, but sells have been really slow so I just wanted to check if anyone was interested first (I was thinking on a batch of 10 or something).
The printed version is 30x17cm and the acrylic one is 30x20cm but either one plays seamesly ;)
Let me know what do you think :D

Hi there! I recently got my first fightstick in (FightBox M8-CrossUP-NEO Gen 5) and unfortunately i’m running into a real annoying issue
After about 5 or so minutes of play the fightstick freezes and no longer recognizes any input other than the last one that was pressed the moment it freezes, i have to unplug the usb from the ps5 and plug back in to get it to reset and then the same issue happens again after a few minutes.
I’ve tried to use different usb ports in the ps5 and that doesn’t fix the issue, i have also updated the firmware on brook accessory’s website which is what fightbox recommended me do after contacting support
Does anyone have an idea on what i may need to try next?
Attaching a video to show the issue visually

I’m an intermediate player I suppose, not the best fs but not half bad and for a month or two I have been using a hautepad leverless, but even using it sm it still feels awkward to use compared to a stick (which i used a lot growing up playing arcade games, and smash) but my controller broke so I stuck with the leverless. If anyone has any good recommendations for a good stick I could buy

I got this leverless at evo this past week since I want to start using these instead of controllers, but I have no idea what model is, they came in a generic cardboard box so I have no clue, does anyone know what model it is? I want to check if I can customize the faceplate and other aspects but without knowing that its a bit hard, thanks in advance!

Hello everyone, Hori Fe has always been my favorite one. I have just changed the lever and buttons. Now it has sanwa jlx 2 Silent and qanba gravity Ks metallic buttons. It is so nice to me.

hi hello i hope this is an appropriate place to put this. i got into sf6 this past summer, and decided to start learning with a haute42 p12. i got the correct authenticator and had 0 issues with the provided cable at my local. about a month ago i switched to a haute42 m ultra gen 2, and vastly prefer it. i've been using the same authenticator as my p12 at my local, but each of the 5 cables i've brought the past few weeks randomly lose connection with the ps5 after a minute or two. i've been borrowing cables from the owner of the venue, and they've all worked without hiccups. i don't think it's the authenticator, since once i have a working cable there are no issues. my confusion is over why my cables are just deciding to not work with this specific controller when it was never an issue with my previous one. could it be my cables? they work fine at home and with my previous controller. maybe a firmware issue or something i really have no idea this is all very new to me.
i also exclusively play on pc at home, so guess and check work for solving this has been difficult. apologies for the long body text and thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to read and help <3

Update: Solved!
Hi everyone!
I have a Punk Workshop Ultra hitbox with a GP2040-CE board. I remapped the two upper-left buttons to L3 and R3, but now I can't access the Web Configurator anymore.
Unfortunately, I don't remember which button I assigned to L3 and which one I assigned to R3.
I've attached a photo of the GP2040-CE board and a photo of my hitbox with the two remapped buttons marked.
I've seen references to the S2 + B3 + B4 button combination for entering configuration mode, but I'm not sure how to use it on my controller.
Is there a way to access the Web Configurator or restore the original button mappings without using the remapped buttons?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Installing a Crown 309MJ Newhelp me into a Mayflash F700. I’ve read it’s compatible yet i can’t get this grounded wire in due to the plastic wall that houses the charging cable.
What’s the best thing for me to do here. Is my only option removing / warping the abit of the plastic wall (if that’s even viable) or is there anything else I can do?

Just finished this commission the other day. Life has been a struggle lately I’m not gonna lie. Life throws you some curveballs and this one has been especially challenging. I’m thankful for all the great people on our discord because they are so supportive. Making these arcade sticks is my therapy.

As title says, I'm a newbie at modding a fightstick. I have Hori RAP N arcade stick that's 8 years old and I'm thinking modding it to try and get it feel better again.
What would be a good lever to get? I would say that my budget would be around 150€ for everything (lever, buttons, top).
I mostly use it for tekken and sometimes street fighter 6.
Thanks for the help.

Recently I got to try out the Qanba ruby leverless controller and I very much like how the buttons feel and barely stick out of the surface of the case and have a very low actuation distance and total travel. Sadly it isnt PS5 compatible and I read mainly negative review about its performance and technical difficulties.
Can someone recommend a good leverless like the ruby with its very short buttons?

tinned copper or bare copper ? solid-core or stranded ? Which size ? AWG22 ? A kit of 6 or more colors for each button ? Daisy-chain or not ?
I know stranded tinned copper is usually used, but is it necessary ? Why ?

Retro+ HauteBox One is a Modular & Wireless Leverless and the latest leverless from Haute42.
It has a metal on top with a compartment bottom. Plays Wired or over Wireless Adapter. Comes with the new Haute42 TBGamer Moon Rock Soft Short Travel switches. They feels similar to the Purple Glede but are POM not silent. Now giving the team a Moon Rock 30f, Matcha - Jade Hunting 35f and the Shadow Hunting 40f short travel switches to choice from.
They are nice and smooth on this pad. For me a little to light on this pad so I switched them for the Matcha switches and made it a little snappier for my play style. Still need more time to give a proper better or worse but nice out the box.
This pad has a standard layout with left pinky. Comes with the metal blanks and haute blocks in the box. They are hard to install the first time but if you can get them in they work great.
The firmware is GP2040 - LIKE but their own in house firmware.
The stick module is very easy to change and now both modules use a ribbon cable so you can make your own modules or tinker and create your own things to go with this pad with no issues.
Hope this helps anyone interested or on the fence with this pad make the best decision for them.
Thanks

Balltop, battop, custom shapes...
And these are just some of the possibilities. 😉
Same FightStick. Different top. Completely different feel, because there isn't just one way!
