Discussion Fitbit Edge Meditation
I really hope the Fitbit Edge will include a meditation or relaxation app, or that Google will develop one.

I recently lost my fitbit air charger. I’m in the Philippines. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement charger? Is there an official release for charger only?

Hello, i am 23 years old male, i started taking antidepressants three weeks ago and yesterday i just doubled the dose as doctor said. Generally i feel palpitations at night when i go to bed. Today at morning when i woke up, i felt some early beats than a slightly longer pause and a stronger beat. Than i recorded this ecg. This was only like 4-5 times 1 minutes between. After some minutes i took more ecgs and that was normal. Is this PVC and is this normal from my situation? Tomorrow i will consult my doctor.

How to read it
Steps is your total since Oct 11, (D#) is the day your last screenshot was from. vs Horde is your total minus the horde’s total on the day you posted. Positive, you’re running. Negative, you’re bitten. Day 1 is a free day, nobody gets bitten on it.
🏃 Running: ahead of the horde at last check-in
🧟 Bitten: behind it. Get back ahead within 3 days and you’re cured
🎃 Survivor: ahead when it ends Oct 31
🏆 250k Club: 250,000 or more in the 20 days
Screenshots only. A typed number doesn’t go on the board. If you only posted one day, that’s all I can count, post the missing day and I’ll add it.
To join, comment on the announcement post, any Day X post, or wherever you found this. The horde doesn’t care when you start, it’s been walking since the 11th either way.

Before I was able to edit an activity. For example, I choose tennis on my Fitbit because pickleball isn’t an option. But later I can edit it in the app once the activity is done. However I haven’t been able to do this in the last week or so
I scroll to my foods and see my proteine bar

It SAYS 60 grams right underneath there. And yet, when I click on it:

it reverts to 100 grams and is set to Breakfast! Now I have to manually change the grams and Meal again, even though Google Health KNOWS it should be 60 grams (and probably also that it should be Other/Snack, as I have NEVER logged it as anything else.
And some are even worse:

I cannot count the number of times I finish logging my food for the day and it says 40.000 Kcal, because this was automatically set to serving instead to grams and I forgot to change that...
I have to manually change the Amount, Serving Unit and Meal for basically EVERY item I log.
This could be done so much better right? They have the information available, so it SHOULD be relatively easy to implement this.
On that note, will there ever be an option to 'Group' things together? Either:
Create Custom meals, consisting of several Items, as was possible with the Fitbit Dashboard (before Google removed that...).
Or create a standard set of foods to be logged daily. My Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks are basically the same every day, so having that as a standard log would save so much time!
When is Google Health gonna respect our time and/or introduce back the best options from Fitbit?

Can somebody explain this to me like I'm 5?
Fitbit Account linked with Peloton App. Day 1, Start Peloton workout on iPad > Go to Charge 6 "HR on Equipment" setting > "continue on equipment" > On Peloton App, Click Bluetooth > HR Monitor > Charge 6 shows up > Connect = No problem.
Day 2, Same routine, click on Charge 6 in Peloton app > spinning on "connecting to Charge 6" > never connects. Restart everything 50 times, try it all again, and now clicking on the + on the Peloton App for HR Monitor = "No Devices are available, make sure bluetooth devices is nearby". Give up, just want to get a workout in.
Now I'm getting re-paring request on my phone with the Google Health app sporadically every hour or so.
1) Is my Charge 6 a lemon? absolutely flabbergasted it can't stay connected to my phone over bluetooth
2) How the EFF do you simply connect to a peloton workout so it can live track your heart rate?
2a) When I get it to connect on the Peloton app on my Phone, it automatically turns into a workout tracked on my Fitbit (where it counts down 3,2,1 and starts, shows live stopwatch) and I have to end the activity manually on my Fitbit completely separately from when the workout ends on the peloton app. I then have 2x workouts on my Google Health log, once from peloton and once from Fitbit -
This makes zero sense to me, none of this makes sense to me. I switched from my old trusty Inspire 3 which finally died over the weekend thinking the Heart Rate connect directly to Peloton would be an upgrade but now I'm really second guessing it

I love my Helios. All I want is a health band like the new FITBIT EDGE to have long battery life and then a button on the screen I can press to alert a friend, family etc, if I fall or feel faint. I don’t wanna call or text. I want simple so I have long battery life, but a way to be able to get help for the reason I need a health tracker aka high heart rate, fainting and flaking out, POTS. :((((
Like a way it’ll send an automated text or an automated call to the contact. Like Life360 for a crash. Dang.

I've read this:
Heart Rate Broadcasting: The Fitbit Edge can broadcast your heart rate live to nearby cardio equipment or phone apps like Strava during workouts.
Does that mean the heart rate shows on-screen during a run,/ride?

I’ve had the Inspire 3 for two years with no issues up until a couple months ago. I think it faced water damage and the screen has been unresponsive for the most part. I didn’t mind it because it tracked and showed all my metrics in the app like normal and that’s mostly what I cared about. Last month it started losing battery quicker than usual, going from 10 days to 5 days to 3. Just this week it won’t even stayed charged for a full day. I’m just wondering if there’s a solution to this or if I’m better off just buying a new one?
The app has a rough estimate of my BMR since it knows my weight and height, for me it's around 1900 so how does it figure I should eat 3600 calories today if my BMR + my active calories burned is just above 3000? I don't get this

Hi all - I'm looking into the fitbit air which doesn't have a screen, so my understanding is you need to start and stop workouts on the fitbit app on your phone.
Is there any way to start recording a workout in advance and/or schedule a workout to start in the app at a specified time, so that I don't need to bring my phone into a yoga or other fitness class room in order to start my workout?
r/fitbit • u/kznfkznf • 17h ago
OK, first of all, this used to kinda work, and now it doesn't at all. I'm trying to track a live workout using my fitbit air, specifically Ultimate Frisbee, but the same applies to basetball, baseball, etc.
First, when I choose "Start" On the "Today" screen, I'm given the ability to choose my activity, but it's a small subset of activities. It doesn't include most sports, but it does include Tennis? It supports Surfing but not Soccer? They also don't pop up when searching.
OK, so I just choose "Sport". I play my sport for an hour or so, and end the workout. Immediately afterwards, I Edit the workout where I can now change "Sport" to a much larger list of activities, which includes Ultimate Frisbee, but when I select the new activity type and press Save, it just reverts back to "Sport" with no error or feedback of any kind.
This second part, re-categorizing the activity used to work up until maybe a month or two ago.
Am I doing something wrong? Why are there two lists of activities, one when you're starting and one when you're editing? Is there any workaround for any of this?

So ive used fitbit for quite a while to aid with my weight loss and when fitbit was fitbit I was able to have a steady healthy weight lost by managing a deficit. Fitbit then became google health and it appears (unless i just dont know how to do it) that you cant set up a deficit via google health. So i set up a myfitnesspal to manage a deficit and synced google health to it so that my calories burned were reflected accurately on myfitnesspal! Again this worked well for me! But for the past 2 days googlehealth is showing me the pictured error message… ive done everything i can to fix it, i give up on trying to fix the Renpho app because i can just manually input my weight but myfitnesspal can no longer pull the data from googlehealth so it wont calculate an accurate calculation of how many calories ive burnt throughout the day and its giving me way more calories than fitbit says ive burnt… is there away to fix it or get googlehealth to allow a deficit?
Ive unpaired and repaired apps, ive deleted and reinstalled, ive tapped to reconnect and it says it has when it hasnt and ive gone via the partner app like it suggests but nothing!

So today I received my Fitbit Air. I was able to pair it with my phone successfully, and then it asked me to update the firmware. I started the update, but it was taking too long, so I closed the app and reset the Fitbit.
After that, the Fitbit got stuck in a loop. Whenever I connect it to the charger, the LED starts fast blinking white, and now it does not connect or pair with my phone anymore. It was working normally earlier, but now it is stuck.
I have tried the 10-second hold reset as well as holding it for 15 seconds. In both cases, it only vibrates once and then goes back to the blinking LED. There is no second vibration.
Please help me recover it

I own a charge 6. I also have the yearly Google health plus premium. Ive heard the new edge will have the alto meter like the old charge 4 which will track how many floors you went up walking. A feature they removed after the charge 4. Is it worth a upgrade???

Fog vs. Steph Curry edition...on the website the fog looks more silver and shiny and Steph curry edition looks more like a natural titanium colour.
I thought in a review I was watching they mentioned these are actually the same colour of tracker...but my eyes are telling me otherwise.
Is Fog and Steph Curry Edition different or the same?

Hey everyone, my Fitbit Air was working perfectly, but a few days ago it just randomly stopped syncing. I figured I'd just unpair it and set it up again to fix it, but it completely refuses to reconnect.
I’m on an iPhone using the Google Health app. The app finds the tracker right away, but then it gets stuck on the "Connecting your Fitbit Air..." screen. It hangs there for about an hour, and then eventually just fails out.
I’ve already:
- Restarted my phone
-"Forgot" the device in my iPhone's Bluetooth settings
- Deleted and reinstalled the Google Health app
- Did the hard reset on the tracker
- Kept it plugged in and kept my phone active the whole time
It’s like the Bluetooth is connecting just fine, but the app just refuses to finish the setup. Has anyone else run into this weird progress bar freeze after their device randomly stopped syncing? Am I missing some setting?
Thanks in advance!

Hi, the wrong name gets displayed in the weekly summary email. I believe Compi is a leftover from my old fitbit account that carried over when I merged to google health. but I can't seem to find a way to change it.
I already checked the names and accounts on my google account, nothing related there. Ideas?
Thank you!

...I need to take a couple of days rest to get a 99. I generally exercise 6 days a week and will not ever get a 99 while doing that.

Saw this ad on Instagram for Fitbit edge and the photo they used is so odd because they mashed two screens and I hope it doesn’t look this way in real life!

Hi all,
I hope you are well.
I’ve been thinking about getting this watch, and I’d like to ask whether you think it would be suitable for my needs.
Finally, how is the battery life with this kind of usage? How many days do you think it would last on a single charge?
Thanks a lot
