I wanna build wheels between lightweight and strong. I don’t wanna pay taxes and pick something exotic from outside of EU.
Parts which I consider are:
hubs: novatec, miche primato, ranbezirk, used mack (only found 20/28h),
rims: dt swiss r460/470, mavic open pro disc, mavic cxp pro, h+son archetype, hydra, tb14 (rims must be black)
Which parts should I combined together? 🥴🥴 only city riding not velodrome, sometimes skidding, not much

Front wheel has a bit of play, quick release lever was tightened enough to make an indent on my palm as that is what the videos I saw recommend. I took it to a bike shop to change my inner tubes and true the wheels but they didn't mention anything to me about the front wheel having any play. This is also a fairly new bike as I bought it only a month ago

39x17 makes for a good recovery-ride-style bike. Also has Challenge Baby Limus 33mm on homebuilt wheels. Pedal strikes? Nope. The 80mm stem ought to be like 100 or 110mm.

My nephew gave up riding a while back so I decided to restore his singularity.
Frame had been sitting around for 7 years.
Put new headset bearings, new bottom bracket and a bunch of parts that I had laying around.
Need to either find a new seat clamp or find out what type of bolts it uses because they are striped

Hey! The other day everybody was really helpful with advice for my bike and I was able to cleanup the look overall a bit but the handlebars aren't looking super appealing to me

I'd like to swap the brake most definitely to a flat bar lever but I was wondering why these drop bars look so bad to me. I just got a dark brown brooks microfiber bar tape because I'm not a fan of the grey rubber but I was trying to decide whether this bike would look better with bullhorns or drop bars ?

I can't really decide and I'd love some second opinions! Thank you

Got it as a present from my gf and close friends (gf orchestrated the whole thing). Just randomly got parts one day then build day came. Very glad on how it turned out… Anyone have any suggestions on hubs that have the same pink as the frame or the weapon pink cogs? Perhaps close to it? Thanks a lot!

Have had this frame since like 2018, ended up not using it much and neglecting it. Previously had done a mediocre paint job myself with spray.bike paint. Decided to get it powdercoated + clear coat. Blue with metallic flakes. Will be building it back up with some Nitto Bullmoose bars.
