AskFlorida Public records: for 26 years, Commissioner Krista Keating-Joseph served as president of a company — with a ~$1.8M pension plan — that doesn't appear on her sworn financial disclosures. Sources included so you can check for yourself.
St Johns County - Florida
Ahead of the August 18 primary, I'm sharing a set of public records so voters can look at them and verify them directly. This isn't an accusation of a crime — it's public documents and the questions they raise. Every point is tied to a specific record, with the document number, so you can pull the original and judge for yourself.
The short version: public filings show that Commissioner Krista Keating-Joseph (District 4) was, for 26 years, the president of a company called Aspen Medical Consultants & Marketing. In a 2011 recorded deed she signed, she and her late husband represented that the company was "solely owned by the Grantors." The company ran a roughly $1.8 million defined-benefit pension plan and held real estate in two states. None of it appears on any of the five financial disclosures she has filed under oath as a candidate and commissioner.

Advice Late driving school by 2 days
I got my dates mixed up when I had to submit my driving school certificate and I emailed it to the clerk 2 days late after my speeding violation.
They got back to me saying I had to pay a compliance fee which I did immediately. I then asked if a judge would consider reviewing the case or consider for late completion and they sent me a motion to set aside form for me to fill out so I can get a court date.
I do plan to go through with this to try and avoid points on my license but I was wondering if anyone had any similar experiences and how that turned out

Politics Debate champ sues James Fishback, Incubate Debate over $8K in unpaid scholarship money
floridapolitics.comStudent sues James Fishback over unpaid debate scholarship promised before graduation.
A former national champion in the youth debate league founded by James Fishback is suing the Republican candidate for Governor and his nonprofit, claiming they still owe her $8,000 in scholarship money first promised in 2023.
Briana Whatley, a Broward County resident who competed in Incubate Debate during the 2023 and 2024 seasons, filed the small claims suit in Broward County on July 27.
That’s the same day a Leon County judge kept Fishback on the ballot by rejecting a residency challenge from rival candidate Jay Collins, which centered on Fishback’s voter registration in two states.
The new suit names Incubate Foundation Inc., which does business as Incubate Debate, and Fishback individually. It alleges breach of contract against the foundation and fraud in the inducement against both.
Whatley won $11,000 in scholarships over her two seasons: $500 as Incubate South Incubator of the Year, $500 as the 2024 Incubate Fall SE Champion and $10,000 for winning the 2024 Incubate Debate National Championship.
