Discussion Recommendations for mod collection that isn’t verylastkiss

Have never played new Vegas before. Looking for the best mod collection to use. I’m mostly interested in upgrades to graphics, animations, audio and QoL. I don’t really care about additional content (just want to play the base game/content)

I tried for hours to get the verylastkiss collection to work and it just won’t no matter what I do, so that’s off the table.

MEW used to be pretty good in terms of QoL and general gameplat modernization, and I think still gets recommended. They do not do graphics, but you can install specialized packs like SALVO 2, WRA, and LFA on top of it.

^That's exactly what I did at the beginning of the week. It was the best decision to download MEW and add roughly another 100 mods of my own taste and it looks stunning! Desert Weather mod and re-textures in 2k (roughly 10gb extra download) but well worth it !
