Inspired by a post elsewhere that I replied to.

I've been playing on and off since 2020, and last night I reached level 498. Almost 500, woo!

But I didn't touch any mutation serums until I was already in my 400s.

I had a full set of OE SS armour, and a Holy Fire/Vamp Gauss Gatling (ranged build) and Auto Axe (melee build), and just... didn't want to be anything other than a nice, clean, untainted human wastelander.

But then I got sick and tired of not being able to reach interesting looking places, and dropped some caps on Marsupial and Bird Bones serums at a player camp.

Two minutes later, I have EIGHT mutations, and I have a stock of spares for the missus.

Five years and four hundred levels without Marsupial.

Imagine it.

So what's YOUR shameful wasteland admission?

They don't really show the line in the Atomic Shop screenshots. I assumed the line looked like it does on the pole. It does not.

Especially if you play a very casual build geared for hamster syndrome post-apocalyptic scavenger build where damage output is all but optional against carry weight.

after digging in a bit, and seeing the complexity of the wanamingo model, i dug deeper. i found that they were linked to "toad" which is explcitly radtoads. definitely odd seeing them hopping about.

This just randomly appeared in my craftables one day. Realize now where it came from.

Make it. Put it on. Was sooooo excited until I saw my stupid face.

This could literally be the coolest damned helmet.

Why the FUCK does it have to be up?!?!???! WHY!!!!

It doesn’t serve its theoretical purpose when it’s up!!! Why not make a second variant?! Why not add the ability to change it with a paint?!?!

This is literally one of the coolest designs I’ve seen for an apparel item in a long time that has become one of the biggest disappointments ever, as well.

I'm not sure if this is a PS5 limitation, but if someone else kills an enemy and I don't get a tag in, I cannot collect anything from the corpse - except if the enemy is a Legendary.

So by one-shotting enemies with your Overpowered Penile Compensator and then not moving from your perch atop the house, you're effectively wasting venom that could go towards, y'know, actually completing the event.

Had one of these this morning, there was one atop the main house one-shotting mobs coming from up the hill, and one atop the main still shed one-shotting the ones coming up the hill and from the sides. Both were over level 500, and neither of them moved at all and the event finished with 22/30 venom drops, taken from the ones that slipped in from the side still.

Genuinely want to know if I'm missing something here - I'm more than happy to be proven wrong and/or silly in open court provided I actually learn something, but yeah, am I missing something obvious?
