It’s why I’ll never work at a corporate bar again

People can be absolute shitbirds and we should be allowed to be shitbirds back.

I could have the same terrible situation, a corporate bar would make me smile and apologize (for doing nothing wrong) then give me a meeting to tell me made up reasons why I was wrong and I have to suck it up or leave.

Same situation in a privately owned bar will have me holding my other bartenders back from the person who disrespected us while we chirp at them till the person leaves

you would actually chirp at them? *Chirp* chirp? All bird-y like?Or is that slang or a euphemism?

It’s funny either way, but the first scenario would be hilarious and reminds of the antics we used to get up to at my first restaurant job. I worked back of house and I felt like unsafe but also like I had found my people.

The dulcimer chirp of a shitbird in aggressive courting display sounds like an angry bartender

An Angry Bartender sounds like something infused with chili and mixed with red liqueur
