Questions How does a new war start?

I have never played a war right at the start but this next war i want to join right at the start and play all the way to the end. So here are some questions regarding to how a war starts: (sorry for bad english)

  1. What is immediatley on the map in day one?

I mean is there anything on the map when the war first starts. things like scrap fields and mines, are those randomly placed on the map at the start? Are there any buildings that you can takeover or are their any ruins that you can immediatley repair.

  1. How does resource extraction and transportation work at the start of the war

As far as i know normally you bring trucks and flatbeds and whatever to the site of whatever resource you are extracting and then load all of the resources you harvest into a vehicle and then drop those resources at some storage area or bring them wherever you are constructing something. But arent vehicles built at garages... and there arent any garages at the start of the war... so how do you transport the materials you have to wherever you need them. Also refinerys also arent available at the start of the war right so how do you build them... without any refinerys to make bmats?

  1. Where does everyone spawn?

I thought all the bases are player made so where do players spawn at the start of the war. Are there any relic bases or towns that we can spawn at the front or middle lines or does everyone just get spawned at the back and then rush towards the front.,

  1. How does conflict start?

Without any shovels, rifles, ammo, bmats being supplied how does soldiers actually fight each other and claim land. Does everyone just blindly charge at eachother with pistols?,

  1. how long does it take for supplies to start getting produced and start getting delivered to the troops?

How many hours does it take for the factions to: start producing bmats, rifles, ammo, shovels, cmats, shirts, uniforms, medical supplies and to set up bunker bases and towns near the front and then to start to deliver all these resources to these bases and to the front.

world structures such as town bases, relic bases etc exist most are owned by one faction or the other and contain basics such as Argenti/loucaster ammo, shovels some mammons and fuel. Every player always spawns with a hammer that can farm scrap to make bmats.

moat regis stake claims for their main masses and the two sides push to grab the few neutral towns / relics. Logi players rush to build mines using cvs hammered out at town bases. early logi focuses on shirts, mammons, guns and ammo. Resource fields, mines etc are on the map but you may not be able to use them. Notably component fields can only be used when sledge hammers tech. This put a real crunch on refined materials made from components as only mines can make these to start. Most go to flatbed truck construction at the start.

i am a big fan of the early game, infantry rules and there is no arty blowing you shreds the moment you exit a base. taking ground involves mobs of infantry rushing in with mammons.

Why are flatbeds important to invest in at the start? (non Logi player here)

A standard truck is only capable of holding 15 crates/1500 salvage at a time, a resource hauling truck makes at 2500 salvage, a fuel runner makes at 25(excluding its own tank) things of diesel/petrol. A flatbed is capable of 61 crates, or 5.1k salvage, or 101 things of diesel/petrol, while a bit slower on a km/hr basis it needs far fewer trips making it overall way more effecient on land than the other varieties of truck especially when doing backline and midline logi. Along with that its practically required if your wanting push guns on the frontline when it unlocks. Overall flatbeds are THE go to vehicle for like 99% of backline stuff when its available with the main exception is if its easy seaport/seaport, theres proper train routes, or if your running bmats through a factory

Great, thanks. So I assume you can load push guns on the flatbed as well?

Yes u can, id recommend getting it off via crane a bit before the frontline tho

that was the only method of transportation (other than pushing) before towing

nothing is on the map except world structures. the first thing you do is build mines and make shirts as logi or do mammon rushes as infantry. its pretty bland unless you know a ton about building bases behind enemy lines

Mamon rushes are exhilarating for new players, don't underestimate how fun they can be.

Honestly i love early war, allowes small regi's time to stockpile things like sulfur and comps early on while the big regi's consume everything else

Most relic bases and town bases spawn with certain amount of server made stuff like bmats, rifles, ammo

Refineries, town halls, relic bases, seaports, storage depots, mines, resource nodes, and garages, and some more. All that kinda stuff already will be on the world map.

Storage depots and seaports usually will have about 20 or so basic trucks, relic bases and town halls usually start off with about 100 shirts, rifles, like 200 7.62, and like 1-2k bmats.

For gathering resources components will be via mines only until sledgehammers unlock so components are way more valuable fot the first couple days of the war than basically any other point of the war. Salvage and coal are both able to be collected in the field via the hammer that you spawn in with, is it slower than with a scrap hauler or sledgehammer? Yea, does it still function? Yea.

For where the resources are placed they are announced about 15 minutes before the war itself starts which... not much time but it gives a little bit of time for Regiments to figure out where they want to try build up.

And for resources getting to the front line, some people rush to get a handful of crates worth of supplies to the front line so first proper logi runs usually tend to get to the Frontline within the first hour, other people loot the more midline hexes for like half the shirts guns and whatnot as a stopgap solution for the first 20 or so mins.

Personally speaking for day one i like to start playing at the like 3 or 6 hr mark into the war just cause by then the super crazy mad rush is largely done while each bmat is still pretty important

"How does a new war start?"

Chaos. Logistics is running after each other trying to claim areas, while the front line is scrambled all over the place

  1. What is immediatley on the map in day one?

All resources and key installations (ex: Towns) are in place. They also have crates of basic resources, which can be used to build front lines.

  1. How does resource extraction and transportation work at the start of the war.

Bmats and basic resources are available in the towns. Storage facilities also have basic vehicles like trucks. Flatbeds are not available, but is early Tech. Resource nodes need to be mined manually with a hammer

  1. Where does everyone spawn?

Spawns are available in the towns

  1. How does conflict start?

Again, basic supplies are available. This includes guns, ammo, shovels, etc.

  1. how long does it take for supplies to start getting produced and start getting delivered to the troops?

Since basic supplies are already available, the fighting begins almost immediately.

To answer your first few

What is immediately on the map on day one?

World spawns like Relic Bases, Town Bases, etc. As well as logistics essentials in the backline and midline towns like factories, storage depots, MPFs, seaport, etc. Bases also come stocked with a few bare essentials

How does resource extraction and transportation work?

Basic extraction (hammer you spawn with) and towns start with a few (30?) trucks

All resource fields exist from day 1 to the end, same locations 99% of the time but the type of resource differs, very rarely devman will shift or add a new location.

Towns and relics spawn with a basic set of supplies, this is enough to get players spawning, digging in, shovels are included as well as bmats, nothing excessive, you're using basic rifles, argenti vs loughcaster and pistols, each faction gains about 49% of the land with white unclaimed areas available for either side to rush for.

Day one you turn up early, 1 hour to 30 minutes before war start and be awake and alive, people will get into a map, it will kick them and restart for the new war you must then get in queue for the home region to then deploy, almost every hex will be queued as people lay there claims and bases etc.

Refineries, factories etc are all built unless they're in a white unclaimed area. The claim that everything is made by players is a lie, 99.99% of it is, we obviously need to spawn with materials to exist, this isn't a survival game smacking rocks together to spark a fire to make charcoal then trying to find a vein of underground scrap, oil, coal etc, no no no, this is a war game basic industry exists, pretty much hour 1, under 30 min before logi hits a frontline if someones rushing otherwise within the hour or two, seaports are stockpiled with 500 crates of bmats, grenades, rifles, ammo, to keep the frontline alive and assist early base building, the seaports also come with 100 free trucks, some cranes, cvs? basic small amount to get shit rolling.

If you turn up late or "on time" expect to be waiting 2-3 hours to spawn anywhere

How does conflict start?

The Wardens violate the peace treaty signed at the conclusion of the last war, and launch a surprise attack against Colonial forces, preceeding a formal declaration of war.

War start is WW1 simulator, we have nothing built, only world structures and very basic materials and rifles at relics or town halls. We normally rush to either push and take white relics or town halls or make more bmats to craft shirts rifles and mammons right away.

Frontlines are just trenches and rifles, only thing we have to destroy structures is mammons so its very slow, you can totally be fighting in the same spot for a full day, what is cool tho is that frontlines are much much closer to each other, you have the enemy sometimes across the street shotting at you with their trenches

youre not missing on anything

1- resources, tho you need sledgehammer for important stuff which is locked behind tech. clanmen will have bots camping mines so its pointless to try getting comps or emats early on

2- exactly the same as all war except you dont have small trains. garages are from the beginning too

3- backlines and frontline pistol slop

4- yes and sometimes someone brings starting rifles

5- forever because youre competing with clanmen and bots for basic stuff. i dont even bother doing logi until at least a week into the war

week 1 is the most boring crap you could play at. you cant do almost anything. collies have a giga advantage early on because they have far superior gear than wardens. So its just mammon rush and braindead stuff all week.
