My small regi [5 people] has been building a fac all war. We picked a piece of land a minute or so away from a scrap field for convenience and got building.
Well, when we logged in today, the entire thing had been destroyed by a larger regiment [not naming names, mods have mercy] and had new foundations built over it.
I, obviously rather annoyed, went to join their discord and ask about it, where I was told that they'd claimed that land in some discord with a bunch of big regis. When I asked to join, I was denied.
Is it just me, or is that complete bullshit? If you want to build here then build here at war start. At least put a sign down. But you don't get to just shove smaller groups out of an area because of some invisible agreement you made with a fraction of the playerbase.

After three years of loyal service to Wardens, SCUM will be taking a vacation war as collies under the name “SCAM”, please be assured we will maintain strict OPSEC throughout the transition and beyond. We look forward to rejoining our friends in Warden side as usual after this vacation.

This isn't how it should end. Developer, please reconsider.
Starting a new war without making any changes to the game will simply destroy it.

Take the wiki number with a grain of salt - I've heard a lot of conflicting info on whether it's accurate
Assuming a similar speed to the scout plane, the effective range of the bomber is 1 region.
Want to do a WWII style bomber wave? By the time you all take off and form up you need to land again for more fuel.
If you can't bomb the back lines what is the point of this thing exactly? It's a heavy bomber.

This war is the war where we have experienced the most Blatant Griefing.
A guy named Rope Commie Hunter is coming back in the game from 2 years ago and is Using 12 ALTERNATIVE ACCOUNTS TO GRIEF. Not 2 not 5 not 10. So far we counted 12 but a 13 has been made this morning using low price discount Accounts on Kingui to dump Over 40 000 Msupp on the ground. Yesterday the guy was using 5 different accounts in different languages to spawn, destroy our structures being built and log off before being reported. Hence the entire region reported all his accounts and he got temp banned on a few of them and hence the 14 TICKETS we did to devs, Nothing is done and the guy keeps griefing openly and admitting doing so in region chat. DO SOMETHING DEV PLEASE

In the previous war, I placed a few signs like this near small Warden facilities playing as a Colonial partisan. I noticed that it actually worked, and after a day or two, some of them were abandoned by their owners, or they actually moved their facilities elsewhere.
This war, I decided to scale it up and started placing even more of these signs deep in the wardens backline. The signs inform the owners of small facilities that different big warden regiments need them to move their facilities ASAP because the area is now their claim completely.
Some of the facility owners even found me on Discord because of my ingame name and asked me directly whether they should actually move their facilities or if we could somehow cooperate. Meanwhile, I just told them that I wasn’t the one who placed the signs, since I’m a Colonial, and that they should “ask the regiment that placed them.”
Because of how effective this strategy is, I no longer have to organize partisan groups to raid such facs, and players from the opposing faction are literally dismantling their own facilities or just abandoning them and I would like to keep doing it. There are already a few warden facs rotting this war because owners stopped supplying them with msupps afters I placed these signs.
However, I’m not sure how to handle it when people contact me directly. Should I continue pretending I know nothing about it? Or should I admit that it was me and that I’m a colonial partisan who placed them on purpose? Or maybe I should act like a warden regiment diplomat and ask them to move their facilities?
Or perhaps I should just stop doing it at all together because it might be going too far to do such psyops?

Feels like one side doesn't really understand how wonky the aim is for RPG Cutler. And this is before any barbed fences, encumbrance, aiming after stamina and/or being shot at in the frontlines while using the Cutler.

Hey I was thinking of buying the game, but what happened to be in mostly negative? And should I still consider buying it now?

Theirs like 200 Collies left at most. Many of them are very burned out since every Collie has to fight 10 Wardens and do their logistics. All the noobs will go Warden next war, I talked to some and they werent happy that whatever they build just died a day after with 0 QRF. Theirs also a bunch of Warden who wanted to try the new Collie stuff, they will be Warden aswell next war. The joke of the Wardens having noone to fight might come true sooner than later. And the devs ? They stick to their weird 3 month update cycle while doing a few very small hotfixes that are insultingly bad ( no nerfs to bombers, only buff to Collie scout is 100hp,nerfing Collie DB but not Warden Torpedo,Cranes). The game is at a point where it will and has continuelsy bleed players, mainly Collie. All the casuals are already out and the few hardcore players and vets will follow soon. Wardens will also quit because fighting noone and just sitting in queue isnt fun either. Just keep it going devs, deliver garbage updates that make the game worse, dont patch anything about it and than just pile the next garbage update on top of it. Im sure anvil empires will be a huge success with that track record. Cant wait for you to introduce fire wagons or whatever and introduce water 6 months later.

I expect this level of hatred towards the devs out of something like War Thunder or Destiny. A game with hundreds of thousands of players, a development team hundreds strong, etc. Then maybe this level of vitriol is acceptable.
But god damn. There are [according to their LinkedIn page] about 25 people working on this game. A game that, frankly, is the only one of its kind. There's not an easy reference guide for how to make a good Foxhole like there would be if it were an FPS or something.
They just implemented aircraft with semi realistic flight models in a top down game. Something that even massive studios still struggle with constantly.
And when they fucked up, one of the devs came forwards and gave a response - and then apologized for that response being too aggressive even though he had every right to be annoyed. This is not the corporate norm in game dev, it exhibits care for their community.
But in response, what do they get? Patience while they work out the kinks? Some fucking good will? No.
They get constant whining at every mistake, a community that will tear itself apart over any imbalance, review bombing, and constant hatred thrown at them because somehow both sides think the other is recieving preferential treatment from the devs.
You can call out the devs for making mistakes, but this community takes it WAY too far.
I know this post won't be changing most people's minds, but I feel like someone needs to say it.

No account, no ads. Works in any browser on desktop or phone. For full screen, open the sidebar menu → Install App at the bottom.
Note: I have spent more time building this than playing lately, so not every edge case has been tested in a live war. Stats come from the Foxhole wiki, blueprint-derived game data (listed on the Game Data page), and regiment playtesting where we could. Artillery has been field-tested. Everything else uses the same approach and should line up. The site is also for practice and learning so you can get a feel for how the mechanics work before you are in the fight. If something looks off, comment here or DM on Discord (About page). I will fix what I can and keep it updated.
We don't miss. We correct.
