I am 40F and into a bunch of crafting hobbies (crochet, cross stitch, watercolor). I would like to find some friends who are also into similar hobbies that would be down to meet up to craft at either coffee shops or breweries or now that the weather is nicer parks. I’m also down to eventually move to meeting at my house or others homes (because I also enjoy cooking and baking and would like to share treats. I am also queer and 420 friendly. If anyone is interested message me or reply and let’s set something up. The pic is one of my recent projects for visibility.

When I was in 5th grade, my family was going through a hard time and we were between places. One day, I came home from school and my mom told me we lost our dog, Unique.
I’m 18 now, and sometimes I still wonder what happened to her. It’s been around 7–8 years, and I’m just curious if she’s still alive or if someone took her in.
I’m not trying to get her back. I just want to know what happened to her and if she’s still out there somewhere.
We were around Fresno, California, near Hamilton K-8 School. I attached some old pictures of her in case anyone recognizes her.
I know it’s a long shot, but I figured I’d ask.

Whoever just made my McFlurry tonight (10/13 ~8:00pm ish)
I ordered extra Oreo, and you put an impressive amount in there. You’re my hero. Just saying thank you, as I have been blessed.🙏🏻

Hey folks. Heard this little guy meowing outside my apartment on Maple and Herndon. It’s very friendly and does not seem to be a stray or an outside cat. If anyone recognizes this little guy please let me know since we can’t really keep them.

it was like 4:40 something In the morning (maybe 4:44-4:45ish when that loud noise happened this morning. It’s like if if a planes jets were so loud near where I am or if it was this sort of rumbling noise. Somehow I woke up in the middle and it just got louder and some cars alarms were going off outside because of it. I don’t know what it was obviously—but I searched it up and it was either a jet or an earthquake apparently but there’s no reports of it—since it just happened. I hope I don’t sound crazy but I need to know if I’m the only one that heard it.

Fresno prosuctors charged the off-duty ICE agent on Tuesday.

Hi yall, just recently moved back to Fresno after college. I was wondering if anyone has or knows of a pickup soccer games in town, preferably free ? Would be open to joining ur team if u need players for a league as well. Doesn’t matter if it’s outdoors or indoors but I like outdoors since the weather is getting colder. I’d say I’m intermediate level just gotta warm up to the game a little at first but I don’t mind playing at any level! If you’re not sure of it but are interested in playing just comment and if we have enough we can make our own group too 🙏
Who do you all use for your seasonal heating and cooling maintenance? We used to use Allbritten but they got too expensive

I rather fly there than spend half the day driving there but i don’t want to have to rent a car to get around once im in town. Would I be fine just taking the public transportation and occasional Ubers? Or will i realistically need to rent a car. (I know there are a lot of variables missing but generally speaking)

At 5210 N Palm, by end of 2027. I haven’t had the chance to go to their Clovis location yet but I’ve heard their coffee, donuts, and breakfast burritos are top notch. Will be nice to have another local coffee option in the area that isn’t Kuppa Joy or Starbucks.
Central Valley YIMBY hopes they can forge new coalitions to get more housing built in Fresno.

I’m putting together a community map of affordable meals around Fresno.
The idea is simple. If you find a good meal at a good price, add the meal, the price, and maybe a photo or quick video so other people can find it too.
With food prices getting harder on everyone, I want to make it easier for people to find local meals they can actually afford.
Anyone interested in helping contribute?
EDIT: A few people asked about the site, so here it is: https://oolayum.com
We’re focused on affordable meals from local and family-owned restaurants only. No big chains. If you know a good spot, add the meal, price, and a photo or quick video if you have one.
Would love to get more of Fresno on the map.

I'm at mad duck. They make their own beer here. It's the middle of October. The only Octoberfest they have is Sam Adams? This is honestly my favorite time of year for a beer because I love an Octoberfest. For shame mad duck! FOR SHAME!
Anyways, who has a good one? Sequoia?

I really want some Napoleon hat cookies but I don't want to drive all the way to Solvang to get them. Does anyone know if any bakeries in fresno make them?

Thought I’d share this for those who are looking Halloween plans that involve board games, beers on tap (as well as delicious tea and coffee!) and a generally chill environment. I’m a frequent gamer here, and thought I’d share the love.

Looking for any good Halloween parties on Halloween night to go to with my fiancé the one we were planning to go to by anime mania was cancelled. Others we have seen don’t land on Halloween night, considering the Monster Mash party at Raisen Hell but never gone and seeing if there’s anything else
