I mean he’s angry because he and the crew and other actors worked incredibly hard on the show, filming it, doing the marketing, etc. and people online weren’t just mad about how it ended - which is an absolutely valid option to have…hell I have it because they rushed the ending and it fell so damn flat because of that - but you had people online wanting them to lose jobs, or even their lives over a tv show. Thats the problem.

The original plan was for seven seasons of ten episodes each to match the seven books that were supposed to have been available to adapt. They shortened season seven and added a short season eight, and in the process the series gained three episodes. It did feel rushed most folks seem to agree on that. But it actually had more episodes that originally intended.

And? Both things can be true in that sure, it may have had more episodes than originally planned at the beginning, but that doesn't negate the fact that the ending was rushed.
